I bought this mainly as a convenience rather than in any quest for a super-close shave per se.

Used it for the first time today and was amazed.

Using no oil or pre-shave lotion of any sort, I used it dry and it gave me the closest - and fastest - electric shave I have ever experienced in 47 years of adult life.

I've used just about everything from all of the main makers' electric razors (some hugely expensive) and (latterly) the (very good) Wilkinson 5-blade hydro wet-shave system which for the last few years has hitherto given me the closest shave I thought was possible.

This is better than that. It's even got the awkward hairs round my neck that even the Wilkinson wet-shave razors just could seem to shift.

Unbelievable.

Arrived the very next day after I had ordered it, which was an encouraging first sign.

Good secure fit into the base of the phone (Samsung Galaxy Xcover) plus a decent useable length - altogether infinitely better than the God-awful, shoddily-made, poorly-fitting and impossibly short lead I had previously bought from Tesco.

These racks are ideal for storing the more awkward stuff that otherwise tends to fall over and look a mess on your shelves like magazines and periodicals, legal files and documents, user-manuals for your hi-fi and other equipment - you name it.
And not only do they restore order to your filing of such stuff and facilitate your easy retrieval of it, but they also look the business, and being made of high-impact polystyrene, they are also extremely hardy and durable.

I love them

I had given up on ever finding these again before I spotted them on Amazon.

These are a real pleasure to use - they write effortlessly and easily with none of the pressure required by most ballpoint pens and none of the drag either - the two most irritating aspects of most ballpoint pens I find, including Bic's own standard medium point ones. And then there's what they actually apply to the paper - clear and well delineated and above all, really BLACK, almost like a fine nib fountain pen.

Excellent

Very useful piece of kit, semi-transparency, removability and unbreakability of the drawers all welcome, as is also the horizontal format of the containing box itself which makes it more stable than the vertically-formatted alternatives and useful for carrying around in the car when doing jobs away from home - and stacking.

Hugely satisfying to finally be able to start sorting out and "compartmentalising" my plethora of screws and other small artifacts that have lain scattered around for years.

So pleased with it I will surely get another.

Excellent stuff and good value, the latter bettered only by the even longer 50M rolls.

And as for those users bleating about the backing being too thin, I think it's just right, because thicker stuff is the devil's own job to wrap tightly round the ends of the sanding shoe - which is needed to stop slop and tearing.

Best used with 1/2 sheet sanders that utilise the full width.

I bought this phone in the hope of its replacing my Nokia 6021 on account of its SSL security capabilities which the 6021 doesn't have.

I shouldn't have bothered however

The old Nokia 6021 (see my review on same) leaves this one for dead, and here's why:

1)The Nokia 6021's screen display is vastly better. In particular, it is easily legible in direct sunlight, whereas the C2-01 is difficult to even see in sunlight, let alone actually read. So the indulgence of being able to compose text messages and emails whilst lounging by the swimming pool in the Mediterranean midday sun is a total non-starter with the C2-01

2)The 6021's menu system is more intuitive and easier to navigate.

3)The physical character of both the keys and particularly the joystick make it the easiest phone I have ever used for one-handed use and again blows away the C2-01.

If this is Nokia's idea of progress then little wonder they are now struggling to survive, their abandonment of sunlight-legible transflective screens in particular having possibly already sealed their ultimate fate I fear.(The 6021 has a sunlight-legible transflective screen).

Little wonder that the 6021 at nearly 10 years old is still commanding the same or sometimes even higher prices than many of Nokia's current models like the C2-01.

If it's not too late, Nokia need to wake up and smell the coffee.

I have tried countless mobiles and smartphones over the years, but still I keep going back to this one - compact, easily-pocketable, solidly-made droppable phone which as a business tool at least is all I need. Its coup de grace however is that unlike any smartphone (or indeed other mobile phone - period) - its screen is easily legible under direct sunlight, which when you travel to sunnier climes and/or use your phone on the beach or by the swimming pool or wherever, is incredibly useful - as I am constantly reminded when I watch others around me variously contorting themselves to try and discern the displays on their phones and tablets in the sunshine. Feels nice in the hand and very satisfying to use too - particularly for one-handed texting and emailing which again is hugely useful and indeed is surely the essence of what a truly "mobile" phone should be about.

Nokia really lost their way when they stopped making phones like this in favour of the sort of stuff they're churning out now. And yet under their very noses, people are still clamouring for this phone in particular as is evidenced by the prices it is still fetching on Amazon and Ebay even now - which perhaps says it all.

Excellent.

I don't even need to add water to get a decent soft-centred poached egg which if I use a low heat setting will cook evenly throughout without having to turn it over and which I can then slide straight out onto my buttered toast as one homogenous - er - entity without even having to use a spatula and with its full flavour uncontaminated by either water or cooking oil - yum yum.

Far easier and quicker than boiling an egg in a saucepan.

A nice matching glass lid to speed up the cooking time would be well worth paying a little extra for, in which event, I will buy another and change this rating to a full 5 stars.
