I recently bought this DVD and overall I would say, this is a very good pre-WM show.
-The opener was an open the challenge for the cruisherweigh championship. Fast paced action, some nice spots but kinda felt like there was so much people in the ring at the same time. ***
- Second match was JBL vs Bobby Lashley. The match was bad I think, it was slow and crowd was bored. The stuff they did with Finlay and Lashley was ok and JBL's bloody face was impresive but this doesn't make the match better. **
- Next match was MNM vs Matt Hardy and his mystery partner which was Tatanka. This was eh, typical TV 10 minutes tag team match. Tatanka work was fine but nothing speciall. ** 1/4
- We started the second half of the show and here is where the show really started to pick up well. Booker T and Chris Benoit had a pretty good 15-17 minutes match for the US tittle. The story of this match was Booker trying to not defend the tittle selling a fake injury but finally, Theodore Long made him defend it. The match like I said was good, nice storytelling and Benoit winning the tittle was also a good moment. Pretty good. *** 1/4
- Rey and Orton was next. Some people didn't like the story of this match with Orton mocking Rey for the death of Eddie but I think that this was good because Rey's moment at Mania winning the WHC was more emotional. Orton challenged Rey for the nº1 contender at Mania and the match was very intense. Good storytelling with Orton working on Rey, nice sequences and the dirty finish helped a lot to make Rey look like a poor man. Very good match, could have been better, but very good. *** 1/2
- And the Main Event. Taker vs Angle for the WHC. Just awesome. 30 minutes of pure gold. Fantastic storytelling with Taker selling the injured leg, Angle putting him on the ankle lock, good spot with Taker breaking the table, matt work, drama, nearfallls, nice counters... You know when a match is important and this was sure of those. One of the best matches I remember for this belt.
Finish was kinda confusing but doesn't hurt the much. Brilliant. **** 1/2

-Overall: Really good show, specially the second half. Two average matches but the rest was good and the ME is a classic. 7.5/10

Awesome event, just excellent from top to botton.
SD MITB Match opened the show great with Bryan winning, Show/Henry delivered and ending was nice, RAW MITB was a little bit worse but still a **** by far, Christian/Orton was very good and ME was just gold. Storyline made this a piece of gold.
One of the best PPV WWE has put in a decade, probably top 10 since 2000. Must buy.

3.0 out of 5 stars WWE Summerslam 2010 Blu-ray Review, 7 April 2011
This is my 2 disc set Summerslam 2010 Blu-ray review:

Disc 1: Raw & Smackdown
First let's go to the red show. It was a pretty good show with good segments but poor in wrestling quality. It was a good way to built the Nexus vs Cena storyline.
The blue show was different than Raw. We had good wrestling with a good television show main event but segments were not so good.
RAW OVERALL: 6.25/10

Disc 2: Summerslam 2010
Now into the PPV.

Intercontinental Championship Match Dolph Ziggler vs Kofi Kingston:
That was a good way to kick off the show. The match was good but Nexus came to the ring to end it with a DQ

Big Show vs S.E.S.:
This was only to complete the card. The built was good with Cm Punk breaking Show's hand but the match was crapp. Show won.

WWE Championship Match Sheamus vs Randy Orton:
I had a problem with this and was that the built was bad but the match was pretty pretty decent. But Sheamus qot DQ. After this Orton hit the RKO to Sheamus. Very good but build up and the DQ made it worse.

World Heavyweight Championship Match Kane vs Rey Mysterio:
Another decent match faster than the Ortons one. Kane retains and Undertaker returts after the attack of Kane. Good.

Team WWE vs The Nexus:
And this was the main event. And what a main event. Very good, great 7 on 7 Tag Team Match with the spectacular return of Daniel Bryan. The match was very good and the build too. I wish Nexus could win but Cena made Barret tapped out with the STF. What I said, very goood.

This Summerslam was in my opinion dissapointed. The card was not good and the event was just decent. Main event saved the PPV. Don't get it unless you want to see the Main Event.

This is my WWE New Years Revolution DVD review just watched last night:

Steel Cage match for the Intercontinental Championship Jeff Hardy vs Johnny Nitro:
This was a pretty good opener SC match. Both with great moves and performing well. Nitro looked good. At the end, Nitro tried to climb down the chamber but Jeff opened the door and when Nitro fell he go into it before Jeff escaped out of the cage. Good match

Tag Team Turmoil winners get a World Tag Team Championshipp shot Cryme Tyme vs Shelton Benjamin & Charlie Haas vs Super Crazy & Jimmy Duggan vs Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch vs The Highlanders:
Pretty solid Tag Team Turmoil. It wasn't included in the card but they performed well. Maybe pretty boring but allright. First The Highlanders were eliminated by Shelton with a Superplex over the top rop, then Super Crazy & Duggan with a german suplex made by Haas and then Murdoch eliminated Haas and finally Cryme Tyme won by G9. Solid but maybe too long.

Kenny Dykstra vs Ric Flair:
Not a very good match but I liked the fact that Kenny could win altough he pin Flair after a fault. In my opinion, not a very good match.

World Tag Team Championship match Rated-RKO vs DX:
OMG! This was a war and I loved it. First I've to say that the storyline is brilliant from the first match 2 months ago. They put the feud into a high level. All we know that the match at NYR was a personal match and the titles didn't care. And thats why I like pretty much this one. DX started attacking Rated-RKO and the bell rang late. If I had to rate only the match I would say that this is a three start one but it isn't. Perfect booking for Michaels with Orton hitting him with the title. Blood started. From this moment the match was fast. Chairshots, Michels with the Dive, Triple H injuring his knee, Pedrigee besides the injury and finally the refree DQ DX but after that DX attacked Orton and Edge in both tables. Brutal. One thing. I will remind that moment when a blood puddle made by Orton remains under Spanish commentators. Awesome.

Chris Masters vs Carlito:
Borderly decent but not good. I always like Carlito on the ring. Great wrestler. At the end the overrated Masters pins Carlito wit a roll-up. Maybe better than Flair match.

WWE Championship match John Cena vs Umaga:
Umaga was put like the undefeated man. But SuperCena had to defeat him. Strange. The match in my opinion was good and the storyline too. Entertaining stuff right here. At the end Cena pins Umaga with a roll-up. Good match. I enyojed it.

So this PPV was pretty decent. I enyojed a lot SC match and the Main Event. Match of the night was Rated-RKO vs DX. It will be in my top 10 matches of the year sure. So yes this was pretty much it, order this one only for those matches. A pretty good pick for that ridiclus price.

This is my WWE Fatal 4 Way DVD review:

Kofi Kingston vs Drew McIntyre for the Intercontinental Championship:
This was a pretty entertain opener and the best match that these two have had. Great moves, great match. At the end, the refree was knock-out and Teddy Long came for make the count but he didnt count three and Matt Hardy come to attack Drew and Kofi wins with The Trouble to Paradise. Good opener.

Evan Bourne vs Chris Jericho:
When you have Jericho on the ring you will have a great match but if you put Evan Bourne with him you can have a really good macth. And this is what we had. Jericho cutting a promo before the match made it better that it was. At the end Evan covered Jericho before the Shooting Star Press. What a match! Perfect for these two and big push to Evan.

Rey Mysterio vs Jack Swagger vs Big Show vs CM Punk for the World Heaviweight Championship:
I didn't expect much more about this match but really happy with it because we saw that Kane's storyline continues. Good moves, like the Thriple German Suplex and allright match. At the end Rey wins with the 619. Big mistake giving the title to Rey.

The Miz vs R-Truth for the United States Championship:
The worst match of the night, very slow and so poor. At the end, Miz retains with a roll-up.

Hart Dynasty vs The Usos & Tamina
This match was so good because they didn't have a story and they wrestle good and people have a good time with this. At the end Natalya covers Tamina after the Discus Clothesline.

Sheamus vs John Cena vs Randy Orton vs Edge for the WWE Championship:
And here we are at the main event of the night. In my opinion, really dissapointed because we had 4 of best wrestlers in the company and they didn't show us nothing special. So sad with this match. I can remember an awesome match between these two but instead Sheamus, HBK. At the end, Sheamus covers Cena after Nexus come and attacks the champ.

In my opinion, this is one of the three worst shows of WWE this year. Nothing special dont pick up unless you want to see the Bourne va Jericho or you are a collector.
