4.0 out of 5 stars Mine didn't work either!, 30 Oct 2007
The watch itself is really rather nice, so I'm rating it 4/5.

However, it didn't work and I don't feel it's my gig to go to jewellers to sort it out so it's on the way back to Amazon!

2.0 out of 5 stars Should have been called Ruby on Rails WITH RADRAILS for Dummies!, 11 May 2007
If you're thinking of developing in RoR in a Windows environment and using RadRails as your app of choice, this book is pretty good. Whilst it's fairly easy to read between the lines and figure out what goes where, I perhaps wouldn't recommend this to someone starting out with Rails as I found it was a better guide to learning RadRails than learning Rails itself.

If it was called Ruby on Rails With Radrails for Dummies, I'd have given it a 4 rating.

5.0 out of 5 stars Back and better than ever, 4 May 2006
The more you play it the better it gets. John Frusciante is just mind blowing these days, is there a better guitarist around today? Flea and Chad Smith rock as well as ever, and Anthony Keidis is a good singer at last!! Stand out tracks for me so far are the excellent Dani California, Hump De Bump which is toe tappingly fun, She's Only 18, Snow and Hard To Concentrate. Great stuff, can't wait to see them live again, Frusciante is king!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic book for the entry level Jimi Hendrix!, 29 Mar 2005
I've just started learning to play guitar and was recommended the Xtreme series by a friend of mine - and what great advice it was! This is a great book to get you started with guitar, from how to sit/stand corrently through to "play like your heroes" with a selection of riffs to play in the style of your favourite guitarist. You can't go wrong with this, I can't recommend it enough.

Grand Theft Auto III and Grand Theft Auto: Vice City - Double Pack (PS2)
Grand Theft Auto III and Grand Theft Auto: Vice City - Double Pack (PS2)

5.0 out of 5 stars Possibly the best game ever made x2, 7 Jan 2004
Put simply, if you don't have Grand Theft Auto 3 or Vice City, and you like games, you MUST PURCHASE this pack. I previously owned both on PS2, but recently bought the double pack for Xbox so I could play them all over again.
GTA3 drops you into the action almost immediately, your first assignment being to pay a thug a visit who has been a bit rough with one of your boss's "ladies" - and introduce him to Mr Baseball Bat - those of a nervous disposition need not apply, as the violence escalates from there into full bloodied street wars with the police, SWAT and ultimately FBI.
Vice City is more of the same, but with the inclusion of motorbikes and helicopters, and more importantly a rocking 80s soundtrack. The sound of "She's a Japanese Girl" pumping from the stereo as you drive over a string of cooks chasing you with their carving knives is one of the more surreal experiences you'll find here.
Again, if you don't have this game, get it immediately. Now now now!!

1.0 out of 5 stars What a terrible waste of money, 11 Oct 2000
This review is from: WWF Royal Rumble (Video Game)
After the great success THQ had on the N64 with Wrestlemania 2000 and others, I was expecting great things from the Dreamcast game - and was majorly let down by a shockingly poor game.
Not enough wrestlers, the control system is poor, no career mode, no longetivity - THQ...This could have been fantastic - all they had to do was to create a DC version of the N64 game, with enhanced graphics and sound (of course) and they were laughing!
Don't waste your cash on this - it's a shame Amazon don't offer a 0 stars option, cos 1 is too good.

2.0 out of 5 stars Wasn't this song released before, but called "Buggin"?, 1 Sep 2000

Well, on the plus side, Vicki has proved that she can sing (although I've yet to see her perform this song without miming?).
But please, Mr Bowers. This song is the same as your last one!
