i see alot of negative reviews of this film. personally i liked it. if you are a fan of either RZA, eli roth or tarantino you will not be disapointed. if your not a fan of these people...... best avoid it. over the top fighting? nah. again this film involves RZA and tarantino who are both very heavily influenced by the classic martial arts films where over the top fighting is kinda the main ingredient. over the top blood splatter ...erm...... did you not see the name eli roth on the credits? brainer there.

the story itself is nothing complicated but lets be honest thats not why we watch these films... theres no point in going into details of the storyline as its been covered in many other reviews. i really enjoyed this movie. classic style martial arts film with a nice hip hop wu-tang(ish) soundtrack and i fairly enjoyed russell crowe in this one.

the only reason i wanted to write this review was due to the lack of negative reviews it got so i just wanted to say again(and i cannot state this enough)- if you are a fan of any of the 3 names mentioned earlier you will enjoy this. if you specifically do not like them..... please leave it and spare us the negative reviews about bad acting and bad choreography which are simply not true. or if your one of those who could go either way - if you dont mind a film that defies the laws of real life. a bit of action and a simple story you will probably get some kind of enjoyment out of it. if you are the type looking for a complex story and complain that the scene you have just seen "would never happen in real life".... probably best you go and buy the titanic.
