Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Bit disappointed as the balloons were a different design to what was pictured and the writing was upside down when the balloons were inflated. They did the job though and the children were happy enough.

5.0 out of 5 stars 1900, 1 May 2005
This film is a true classic!
The film follows the life of Danny Boodman TD Lemon 1900 (played by the incredible Tim Roth). 1900 was found, abandoned on the Virginia - a ship sailing between England and America. He is taken in by one of the coal workers, and named 1900, on account of being found on the first day of the first month of the centurary.
1900 becomes a miricle pianist, too afraid to step on land. When Max hears that the Virginia is set to be destoryed (by dinamite) he is certain that 1900 is still onboard.
Will Max be able to convince the workers of 1900's existance? Will he find 1900? and most importantly, can he convince 1900 to leave the ship??!
This film is an incredible, moving, emotional experiance, and I would recommend it to ANYONE!
"I was born on this ship!..and the world passed me by..2,000 people at a time."

5.0 out of 5 stars Fire Bringer - an epic tale, 5 April 2004
This review is from: Fire Bringer (HB) (Hardcover)
Fire Bringer is a book about; loyalty, belief, courage, treachery, hatred and destiny. This book follows Rannoch a red deer born the night his father was murdered. With a strange birth mark on his forehead which was foretold in a prophecy. He is chased from his home as a fawn and hunted by deer with their antlers sharpened to kill. He is seperated from his family and friends and must return to face his enemy and free the deer.
This book is an emotion stirring epic tale that you will enjoy. I especially recommend this book for animal lovers. This was David Clement-Davies' first novel and is extremely well written, one of those rare books you just can't put down. A must read, well worth the money.
