1.0 out of 5 stars Ripped-off., 14 Feb 2013
= Fun:1.0 out of 5 stars
I bought this game under the impression that it was buy to play and that a subscription was not required. It's not a bad game, the fight mechanics are a bit rubbish and some of the missions are a bit repetitive, but overall I liked the atmosphere and was starting to get into it.
Imagine my surprise, then, when I received an email, after a month's play, telling me that my subscription had run out and asking me to BUY another subscription package if I wanted to carry on playing.
Do not buy this game, it's a scam, I have wasted £23 buying it and now it's useless, although I suppose I could make the DVDs into a couple of coasters.
If I could give these crooked rip-off merchants zero stars I would.

1.0 out of 5 stars Worthless, 11 Jan 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Wanted to pair my laptop with some headphones so I bought this.
To cut to the chase; it doesn't work.
Windows 7 cannot locate a driver for it, the same happened on my mac, this product is absolute junk, don't waste your money, buy a decent one instead.

1.0 out of 5 stars The worst dog food money can buy!, 11 Oct 2012
If you love your dog you won't feed them Bakers.
Just have a look at the ingredients and google them for yourself.
E102 - Tartrazine and E110 Sunset Yellow are strongly linked to hyperactivity and are banned in some countries. Sunset Yellow has been found to damage kidneys and adrenals when fed to laboratory rats. It has also been found to be carcinogenic when fed to animals
E320 - BHA or butylated hydroxyanisole is a known carcinogen that has also been linked with urticaria, angioedema and asthma, also banned in many countries.
E321 - BHT or butylated hydroxytoluene causes liver damage.
E310 - Propyl Gallate. Banned from children's foods in the US because it is thought to cause the blood disorder methemoglobinemia, linked to gastric disorders and skin irritation in animals.
E104 - Quinoline Yellow is one of the colours that the Hyperactive Children's Support Group recommends be eliminated from the diet of children. Banned in Australia, Japan, Norway and the United States it is also linked to the occurence of dermatitis.
E171 - Titanium Dioxide. Banned in Germany
E153 - Carbon black. Banned as a food additive in the United States of America. Suspected as a carcinogenic agent.
E490 - Propylene Glycol, linked to occurence on eczema, particularly in white dogs and bull-breeds.

Bakers isn't a dog food, it is a cynical and profitable dumping ground for additives deemed unfit for human consumption.
Your dog can't use google, it's up to you to make sure that he or she eats proper decent food.
Go and look these things up for yourself and please, please, please don't feed this horrible stuff to your best friend, your dog relies on your judgement.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not impressed., 20 July 2012
I was about to order a bag of this food and then noticed the small print which states "Usually dispatched within 1 to 2 months".
Who on earth is going to order something that won't be dispatched for two months, especially when it promises "monthly" deliveries?

Looks dodgy to me.

4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Hair-trigger Mechanism, 5 May 2012
This review is from: Very Best Of Vera Lynn (Audio CD)
It's quite bulky and took a few attempts to set it up as if not done correctly the slightest move sets it off, but overall it is a good album although the spring assembly could be better constructed. I think it would be better if it could set to play quietly at first so the inmates can get used to it over a period of days, then when they're not expecting it you can turn it up to "wish them goodbye".

It's designed so you cannot get bitten and works well, but needs to be checked daily. I found I could attach a water bottle on the side of it with minimal fuss or effort.

Great for catching escapees as I found out when Uncle Dennis made a break for freedom, especally when it's in a huge care home. He was caught first time and was unharmed but for some superfluous damage to his moustache and tobacco pouch.

5.0 out of 5 stars The top perormer in it's weight range., 5 May 2012
This review is from: A Whole New World (Audio CD)
'A Whole New World' features a special anticoagulant rodenticide to get rid of rats and mice in the home and garden. 'A Whole New World' also contains Bromadiolone, used as a rodenticide in urban and farm rodent control, which works by disrupting the normal blood clotting mechanisms causing an increased tendency to bleed.
'A Whole New World' is for use indoors and outdoors, is easy-to-use, and contains bait trays. Indoors, it is ideally used under cupboards, behind furniture or in loft space. Outdoors, it can be used in lengths of pipe or beneath tiles leant against a wall or where rodents are seen running or feeding.
Rats normally die within a week of hearing 'A Whole New World'; mice may taker a little longer.
Personally I found that it was also very effective against larger mammals such as badgers, hares, cats and smaller dogs but for shifting a labrador or persistent elderly relative you'd probably be better off using 'Sticks & Stones' by Cher Lloyd.
