5.0 out of 5 stars Fairy Tales?, 31 Oct 2008
This book is full of 'fairy tales', which are great, but one word of warning - proof read each story first before reading it to your little ones, as some of them are quite gruesome and scary!!! (grandmother asleep in bed killed with an axe, man tied up in a bag filled with stones and dropped into a river, etc. etc...). I'd still highly reccomend it though.

5.0 out of 5 stars Mega Paint Set, 31 Oct 2008
This paint set contains ALL of the Citadel paints, including foundation range and washes. (73no. paints total). It also includes PVA glue, grass, sand, a range of brushes and a heavy duty box with tailor made cutouts for the paints. The total cost of all these items if purchased seperately is 233.75, so this is an absolute bargain!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Very Enjoyable, 17 Aug 2008
We found this DVD set very enjoyable - well worth the money! History is brought to life by focusing on pivotal characters, and the events unfold through their eyes. This is great, especially for children, as it turns what they would normally describe as 'dusty-old-history' into an enjoyable and memorable experience.

1.0 out of 5 stars Eco Kettle - AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!, 17 May 2008
The principles behind this kettle are good - it is easy to boil what you want to boil, therefore reducing energy bills and helping the environment. However, in practice, after about two months of use, the seal around the lid started to leak resulting in the cold water in the upper reservoir escaping when pouring water into a cup, cooling down the hot water and making a mess of the work surface. This was a frustration that we decided to put up with. However, after about 13 months, the kettle stopped working altogether. I changed the fuse in the plug to check that this was not the problem, but it didn't work. The financial and environmental cost of this kettle for me has let me down, as I now have to go and buy a new kettle, and dispose of this one. I think I'll buy a 'traditional' kettle now, and measure the water myself!
