5.0 out of 5 stars ... I are in our eighties and found the seat easy to assemble - there were even surplus screws, 21 July 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
My wife and I are in our eighties and found the seat easy to assemble - there were even surplus screws. All you need is a Philips screwdriver and a spanner. It's already treated with preservative and looks great in the garden. It stood up well to our family with grandchildren sitting on it. Recommend this product as it is good and cheaper than many other seats.

4.0 out of 5 stars CIVIL AIRCRAFT by James Gibb, 11 Jan. 2010
This review is from: Civil Aircraft (Hardcover)
This book is a superbly illustrated guide to current (2009-2010) 'in production' passenger carrying civil aircraft of the Western World. There is no information on Russian aircraft. At the front of the book is a very brief and somewhat sketchy introduction of 10 illustrated pages in length, on the history of airliners from the Benoist xiv of 1913 to the latest Airbus and Boeing aircraft. The bulk of the book deals with Airbus and Boeing airliners with shorter sections on ATR, Cessna, Embraer and SAAB aircraft. There is also a page describing the Virgin Galactic Spaceship One. I recommend this book for all ages, from youngsters to adult aviation enthusiasts. My only criticism is the use of undefined acronyms, such as ETOPS and ATR in the text. General readers would not know they mean 'Extreme range twin-engine operational performance standards' and 'Avions De Transport Regional'. The book however is worth its price just for the really beautiful colour photographs of airliners in flight.

4.0 out of 5 stars A CHRONOLOGY OF AVIATION, 11 Jan. 2010
I FOUND THIS BOOK AN EXCELLENT SUMMARY OF OVER 100 YEARS OF AVIATION, BUT WITH SOME MINOR RESERVATIONS. there is no information on Concorde, not even a photo, and in the chapter on the second World War, the author refers to the British Gloster Whitley bomber. This aircraft was of course manufactured by Armstrong Whitworth, although many years after the war Armstrong Whitworth merged with the Gloster Aircraft Company. The time-line at the bottom of each page is excellent, and I found the chapters on Pioneers and Perils, Bloodied in Battle 1914-1918, The Birth of Passenger Aviation 1919-1938, From Biplanes to Jets (World War 11), Breaking Records, Cold War Conflict, and Superfighters and Giants, very informative. The book is very well illustrated with monochrome and colour photos and in the text I found much information and many facts I had not been aware of. The last chapter is bang up to date dealing with the latest supersonic jet fighters and the rivalry between Boeing and Airbus and there are illustrations of the Boeing Dreamliner and the Airbus A350 as well as the Airbus A380 giant passenger aircraft. I recommend this book to anyone interested in the history and development of aviation. It is published in the same size and format as the authors other excellent books in the Aviation Fact Files series.

5.0 out of 5 stars rezo 50, 11 Aug. 2009
I WAS LOOKING FOR A CAMERA CASE FOR A CANON SX 200IS COMPACT DIGITAL CAMERA AND THE REZO 50 IS PERFECT. THE CASE CLIPS ONTO A BELT OR YOU CAN USE THE SUPPLIED STRAP, AND THEIR IS A ZIPPED COMPARTMENT FOR SPARE BATTERIES OR A MEDIA CARD. A GREAT PRODUCT FOR A GREAT CAMERA, WHICH HAS A FANTASTIC ZOOM LENS

This book really brings to life the ancient past, and the history is presented in a clear very readable manner. The illustrations are superb and I can recommend this book to everyone.
