Candy Floss with bad spelling and grammar, 30 May 2013
The title of my review should give an idea of what I thought of this book. I do try to finish all books I start and I did finish this yesterday but I've already forgotten what it was about - stereotypical characters, artificial situations contrived ending.

Not quite as luxurious as expected, 23 May 2013
The case is okay but nothing special - it isn't embossed as in the picture and the fastener feels a little flimsy, nor is it quite as slim as I'd hoped (maybe expecting too much to keep the iPhone 5's lovely slim profile with any case on). Having said all that, it has, so far, done its job and protected the iPhone adequately.

Gentle read, 30 April 2013
This is the second of Sarah Caudwell's mysteries set in the legal profession. They're written in beautiful English and are so very easy to read with all the characters developing as the stories progress. The plot itself does become a little complex with inter-linking friends and family but resolves itself eventually. Really, just a nice gentle read.

Pretty well perfect, 8 April 2013
This is as good an explanation of faith as I have come across, with each problem and issue faced head on and without the too frequent hiding behind the "God knows best" argument to dodge awkward questions. The explanations of the fundamental beliefs of Catholicism are in clear, easy to understand terms that, nevertheless inspire. Brilliant book that is the Catholic equivalent to C.S. Lewis's Mere Christianity.

Excellent after setup, 8 April 2013
I was used to using Overdrive on my iPad so was keen to put it onto my Kindle Fire - it means I can read books from my local library on my Kindle as well as actual Kindle books. The download and initial set up is slightly unfriendly - leaves you a little unsure where you're up to and what has and has not downloaded - but when, eventually, it is sorted it works like a dream. Great App.

So good I bought 2!, 14 Mar 2013
Had a similar one for years and the plastic was breaking up so I decided to buy two. One for under the washing up bowl so that when it is emptied sthe bowl does not "sit" in the dirty water which is draining away. The other is for using under the holder that I keep the washing up liquid, handwash and pot scrubbers in. It keeps the underneath dry and stops the worktop getting damaged with water spills. I am very pleased with these items and never thought I would find anything like the "old" one.

Great for cleaning leaves on houseplants, 10 Mar 2013
Bought as a present for my sister-in-law - too soon to say whether it has any effect on greenhouse pests or whether it improves the condition and health of plants. Has found it very beneficial cleaning the leaves of houseplants.

Too wordy, 22 Feb 2013
I am still struggling to find out why Chesterton was a Catholic - this is a motley collection of essays written in a very wordy style that often loses the point along the way. The articles are very, very much based in his time with many references to people and views that mean nothing to the modern reader but which aren't explained because, at the time he was writing, everyone understood.

Great quality, 5 Feb 2013
These bags are not cheap but are essential for my Miele vacuum. They are good quality, very substantial and easy to change.

Well made - excellent present, 28 Jan 2013
This was bought as one of our 4 year old granddaughter's Christmas presents and although rather pricey is very well made. She has made good use of it so far but the pieces are also attractive to our one year old grandson who has mislaid the day of the week block!
