5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic Portable Sounds, 28 May 2016
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I owe this product a review. Many of my colleagues have their own portable speakers. This surpasses them all bar one and that one is a speaker costing 3 times as much and is about 3 times the size. It makes the Beats Pill sound utterly puny. It's a very well rounded sound. The highs are crisp and the bass is punchy without being muffled or bloated. Of course, if you place the speaker close to a wall you will gain a little extra bass. Vocals sound brilliant. Finally, the Bluetooth functionality has been flawless and the build quality suggests it will last for many years. There are some very good reviews of this product on youtube and in the end I choose it over the similarly priced Bose Soundlink Colour. Highly recommended and well done Denon!

5.0 out of 5 stars Put the gamepad down!, 18 Jan. 2016
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Whilst the T150 doesn't have a clutch pedal or separate shifter, it feels sturdier and looks far more appealing than Logitech's highly reputed (and more expensive) G27. The wheel itself is made of a high quality plastic that gives the impression of machined/brushed metal. The rim has a textured rubber finish at the coloured holding points that gives plenty of grip. The paddle shifters are actually metal and rotate with the wheel (unlike on some other models) to stay within easy reach. They have good resistance and give a solid mechanical click when activated. There are a plenty of buttons and a d-pad for navigating menus or other in-game functions. The wheel unit clamps to the desk with a quick release mechanism and didn't move about or come loose at all during long races. The pedals are plastic but again of a decent quality. The brake pedal has more resistance than the accelerator as in a real car. They are fairly light but didn't move around at all once my heels were rested on the base. The set connects directly to the mains to provide power for the force feedback effects which in my opinion are very good. The unit only requires a single USB port as the pedals connect to the steering unit. If you're looking for your first steering wheel, the T150 is a great choice.

I used the wheel with Windows 10 in iRacing, GTR2 and DiRT Rally. Note: Out of the box, the pedals didn't function correctly and were appearing as digital inputs rather than analogue. Visiting Thrustmaster's support site and downloading the firmware updater fixed this.

4.0 out of 5 stars A very good headset., 12 July 2015
This is a very good headset. It's comfortable (even on my cow sized head), has excellent build quality and a decent selection of accessories. Sound is good directly from my laptop. The highs shine in particular without sounding at all harsh, but (in my case) low frequencies are much improved using a USB amp.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best training equipment/clothing purchase I've made!, 10 July 2015
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
It's the first time I bought this brand or a specialist lifting shoe so unfortunately can't compare them to anything similar. All I can say is, I should have been using something like this for years now. Much more stability than my regular trainers and a more comfortable heel position than barefoot. I'm lifting heavier with more confidence and they look great!

I'm normally a size 11 with a wide foot. I bought 10.5 (off the advice here), perfect fit.

Comfy but pointless when it doesn't stay on your head. Could probably do with another strap at the back to stop it from slipping off.

3.0 out of 5 stars Nexus Next Time, 30 Aug. 2014
Despite feeling a little cheap compared to my previous Desire S and having too many Samsung bloatware apps, in use, it's a decent phone that packs plenty of punch for it's size. Unfortunately, Samsung are apparently in league with Vodafone, so you'll notice their official release of Android 4.4.2 came out for Vodafone handsets in June. It's almost September now and the unbranded version of 4.4.2 (for those that bought the S4 Mini at a premium and sim free) is still not released. That's just business, but I'll buy an official Google phone in future to avoid being side lined.

3.0 out of 5 stars Masterful Sound, 30 Aug. 2014
These are the best sounding headphones I've ever listened to -no doubt about that at all. They're perfectly balanced and anything you care to play on them will sound awesome (given you have a semi decent source of course). If you care to look up Paul Barton, the founder and chief designer, you'll see this man knows everything there is to know about sound. You should have confidence. The noise cancelling is okay and cuts low frequencies well enough. Certain higher frequencies (such as announcements) still come through clear. Most importantly the NC has little impact on the sound quality. The amplifier function which uses two double AA batteries is also nice feature. When turned on the sound becomes slightly more powerful and sure footed. Battery life was a surprise as I didn't need to change them nearly as often as I expected.

The headphones are big and heavy. If you're used to carrying in-ears for travelling (like myself) they become a bit of a burden. If you do fly with them, you may find whilst your listening to your lordly sounds, that you want to doze a little. Unfortunately, because of how thick the ear cups are, you'll be unable to use the side bolsters on your seats head rest. They simply get in the way. In terms of general comfort, I found them just a little tight (I do have a larger sized head though) for long sessions. An hour is fine, two hours would be bothersome. The ear cushions are luxuriously soft and supple but they will also warm your head up quickly. My last and final negative point is that I'm not keen on the glossy plastic Beats type styling. These headphones are far superior in sound design, so why make them look like something less.

To summarize. They're fold-able, noise cancelling travel headphones with masterful sound that are just not comfortable for travelling in. What about home use? Well, then the cable's too short and I don't need the amp or noise cancelling features -and they're still not comfortable for long sessions. I wanted them to be comfortable so so much. Alas, I could not justify keeping them.

These are convenient and take up little space. However, I'm sure they give my eggs a slightly rubbery aftertaste. I never noticed this when using the cling film method.

5.0 out of 5 stars An Excellent Guide on Lucid Dreaming!, 30 Aug. 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
The most informative, straight talking and logical guide on the topic I've read. Perfect explanation for the beginner and plenty of additional techniques to try for the more experienced. Love's passion and study of lucid dreaming stems from his childhood and he presents his life's work in such a way, that makes an otherwise deep and obscure topic, easily accessible.
