4.0 out of 5 stars It's been a long wait but worth it, 21 Aug. 2012

How this band never became huge around the time of their Third Eye and later Phaseshifter albums, despite MTV exposure, is beyond me. After occasional sporadic live activity and various side-projects they're finally back after 15 years and in my book it's well worth the wait. However, on first listening I'm not sure this is quite up there with the high standard of the two aforementioned releases. The production, to my ears, is a trifle muddy and there are no immediate classics like Annie's Gone or Jimmy's Fantasy.

But I think it's going to grow on me - there is absolutely no filler on here, that's for certain. If you like Redd Kross, or just spiky power-pop laden with hooks, then you won't be disappointed.

OK, this may not be the very best guitar stand in the world, but at that price I'm not complaining as it does the job more than adequately. It's sturdy enough and really quite a bargain.

5.0 out of 5 stars A glorious, sweaty trip down memory lane, 12 July 2011

Many will know the live Human Punk track on The Crack and here's the whole gig! This was a band at the absolute peak of their powers and the energy and musicianship are really quite astonishing. Few live albums successfully capture the excitement of the gig itself but this one truly succeeds and I should know - I was there!

This is a superb mower and it really does take the strain off back & shoulders. Ultra-lightweight and yet feeling sturdy at the same time, it makes light work of my uneven, pot-holed lawn and leaves a nice close cut. The grass box has a deceptively large capacity and there's no spillage to speak of. There is a bit of self-assembly involved which was a little fiddly but not too onerous. Well worth every penny.
