5.0 out of 5 stars Great Read, 9 Nov. 2010
Well researched and thoughtful. Balanced analysis. Very readable. One of the best books on the period. Highly recommended for students, academics, politicians or just a layman reader interested in Attlee in politics, the rise of Labour, the development of the Welfare State etc.

Business Cycles: History, Theory and Investment Reality

5.0 out of 5 stars Business Cycles: History, Theory and Investment Reality, 6 Feb. 2009
It is a very good read. It covers a huge range of theories, provides good background, and looks at investments. Personally, I read it for the theories; which were well explained and surprisingly readable. I was happy to see the inclusion of many very important, but rarely addressed theories. I highly recommend this book.

This book is definitely worth it. If your are a leading academic, student, or even a politician, you will gain from reading it. Furthermore, as a student myself, I found it entertaining, whilst still of great academic worth.
Highly recommended!
