Fly London Womens Tram Sandals Black 7
Fly London Womens Tram Sandals Black 7

4.0 out of 5 stars Tasteful, comfortable and...funky!, 29 Jun 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
The design is lovely...just what I like... a tasteful, simple design. The fit across the broadness of my feet could have been improved...I have to extend the strap and secure it on the 'last' punched-hole, which is why they only-just fit!
Many women (who have broad feet or bunion) are looking for attractive shoes/sandals...some with jewelled tops but the designs for sandals seem to be narrow, flimsy straps across the broad part of the foot and although that is good for narrow feet, it's been overlooked for women who need the broadness below the big toe!

Edition: Paperback
Price: 8.69

4.0 out of 5 stars Attention all Shipping, 1 April 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
The book is historically interesting, hysterically humorous and very well written.
The condition of the books - purchased was not brilliant...a bit marked and musty-smelling (they were not brand new but were classed as 'very good condition') but the story is good.
The delivery was couteously and quickly dealt with.

Practice Makes Perfect Complete French Grammar (Practice Makes Perfect Series)
by Annie Heminway
Edition: Paperback
Price: 6.99

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect book for French Practice and highly recommendable!, 23 Mar 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This book is an essential guide for learners of the French language and the exercises really help to 'clear the mist' that can sometimes descend on people who need clarification of unusual terminology and to get to grips with the huge variety of verb-tenses, when speaking in French. When you have completed the exercises, you can check your answers at the back of the book...very reassuring!

All the purchases were excellent but the DC Comics and Marvel books were bought as gifts and have not yet been presented to the person who will receive them - some time in July of this year.

5.0 out of 5 stars Peaky Blinders ...a film not to miss!, 20 Nov 2013
This review is from: Peaky Blinders [DVD] (DVD)
Set in 1920s Birmingham with its poverty, rival-gangster crimes, illegal betting and corrupt police, this T.V. drama is SUPERB! Sam Neill and Cillian Murphy...along with the rest of the cast, give a performance NOT To BE MISSED! It is compelling viewing, and the background music adds greatly to the series.

Wilmslow & Alderley Edge: A Pictorial History (Pictorial History Series)

5.0 out of 5 stars Wilmslow, Alderley Edge and 'The Mill' (T.V. wonderful-production) all tie-in with the book., 1 Nov 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Very interesting book - with copy-photographs of old Cheshire. This book inspired me to refer to the recent T.V. production of The Mill, and I was fascinated to learn that the history of Quarry Bank Mill (now a National Trust property) ties-in perfectly with some of the scenes in the production. Some of the photograph-plates showed the old, wooden beds that the mill-workers were forced to sleep in... they featured in the wonderfully-filmed/acted/cast production on television. (I'll buy the dvd - when the price is reduced to a more affordable one).
I shall treasure the book because it reminds me of some of the places I visited when I lived in Manchester...I was born there! This is a sincere and honest review.

5.0 out of 5 stars katie morag and the dancing school, 23 May 2011
The book is beautifully illustrated and should appeal to little girls who fancy themselves as future ballerinas. Of course, Katie Morag learns something along the way to her dancing class and that is one of the reasons why the author is so popular!

5.0 out of 5 stars Ch'tis (Danny Boon), 20 Feb 2011
Ch'tis is an excellent film...touching, heart-warming and very funny. Well written, produced, directed and acted. It is a film that you could watch over and over because of the 'feel good factor' you are left with.
