20 Pocket Door Hanging Tidy Organiser Storage Rack
Offered by Safield Dist. Ltd
Price: £14.99

3.0 out of 5 stars Hook depth..., 12 Feb 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
The depth of the provided hooks is a little deep for a shallow kitchen door and consequently the hanger moves around a lot.

Maybe a choice of hooks for different door widths?

1.0 out of 5 stars Very Poor, 13 Feb 2012
Very disappointed in this product. They are made of poor quality paper and feel very cheap. But then I suppose they are. There is no fold in the top flap so look awful when a CD is inside. I use these to send media out to clients. I would not send these out. I binned the lot.
I have had others which are made from thick paper and are a quality product but it's difficult to tell which are the shoddy ones. Back to Maplins I suppose....

1.0 out of 5 stars Avoid at all costs..., 8 Jan 2011
= Durability:1.0 out of 5 stars  = Fun:1.0 out of 5 stars  = Educational:1.0 out of 5 stars
My 3 year old has many of the Disney Cars products and they are generally well made. This however is an appalling product and is unfit for purpose. I am sure it looked great at the design stage but obviously avoided the quality control stage. Looks great in the box and thats about it. The plastic door which is meant to be attached to the main helicopter body will not attach at all. The pins on the door are far too big to go into the holes. The door does not bend at all so it is impossible to attach it. An engineer friend of mine looked at it and surmised that whoever designed the tooling was an idiot. The quality of the cars inside the helicopter is suspect. All are cheap and plastic. The blades on the helicopter do not splay out properly to play with or rotate and just stay together in one lump. I am surprised that this product ever came to market. Disney, be ashamed, very ashamed.

2.0 out of 5 stars Design Flaws, 8 Jan 2011
= Durability:2.0 out of 5 stars  = Fun:4.0 out of 5 stars  = Educational:1.0 out of 5 stars
This is a nice concept and my 3 year old really wanted one. It's not cheap, but is cheaply made. The problem with Disney toys (especially this Cars range) is that there seems to be no quality control. This I am sure looked fantastic on the designers drawing board, they failed however to follow the design concept through and make sure that all the tooling and manufacturing processes were up to scratch to make the toy usable. Can you imagine a company like Apple doing this?,A great concept and shoddy manufacturing? No chance. The door constantly falls off due to the bad tooling if you have the Rescue Squad Helicopter, it's WORSE. the door won't even go on the toy is unfit for purpose) and the clips a too tight for small fingers. The Monster Truck Wrestler vehicles inside the main compartment are a mixture of some well made metal ones and cheap plastic ones. One has already broken. It seems to me that these are designed to look great in the box but once opened (getting the box open will take a shed full of tools!) are a badly made hash of what could actually be an excellent toy. Disney need s to follow through from design concept to manufacture of the final product. I doubt the people that actually designed this ever saw the final product, or a very least any quality control was carried out. It's still better than the Rescue Squad Helicopter though which is an apalilng product!

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic, 7 Nov 2010
Buying a C Stand will change the way you work. Solid, heavy and reliable. This Interfit one is very good value for money compared to others and superbly built. If you are in two minds, just buy it- you won't regret it...

Digital Food Photography
by Lou Manna
Edition: Paperback

2.0 out of 5 stars Nice portfolio..., 7 Nov 2010
This is a lovely portfolio book and Lou Manna is a very talented photographer. You will learn much from just looking at his images and deconstructing the lighting yourself. But that is pretty much all it is. If you are looking for lighting diagrams or lighting tips you won't find them here. The few lighting photos that are provided are almost useless. This book has a problem with finding its core market. Is it aimed at fellow professionals or amateurs? The content is very mixed in this respect, some of the info being very basic at best.
As I said that's not to say you won't learn something. I always advocate looking at other photographers work and there is some stunning food photography here. It's just not written in a very modern instructional manner. A new book has been promised but is yet to materialise.
