The top half of the butter dish would not fit into the tray as it was too big.

4.0 out of 5 stars Functional but not perfect, 16 July 2013

This bar does exactly what anyone could want from it! The single drawback is that the spin locks become loose after a few reps, which is a slight inconvience.

My order came wrapped only in a single sheet of plastic and the bar had been bashed a bit during travel, fortunately there was only cosmetic damage.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great except one problem!, 12 Feb. 2012
If your looking at the complete boxset then you probably already made up your mind that you like Star Trek, if you've never seen Enterprise then it is highly recommended (I prefer it to the original series and Voyager at least). It has a great story, characters, alien races - everything you can expect from Star Trek!

Some people have complained about picture quality on this and some other complete boxsets, but I had no problem with it, identical to any of this series I have previously seen on TV, its DVD not blue-ray!

One downside would be the packaging, it looks brilliant and is one of the best I have seen. However, it has one major flaw - the cardboard case left every disk with visible scratches on them before I even used them (they all worked fine but am worried about how long they will last with repeated use). The other thing that annoyed me was that there is no "play all" option on the DVDs, which meant having to pick an episode then press play and go out of it again to start the next episode. This is fine for selecting a single episode but not when you want to watch through the whole series in a row.

4.0 out of 5 stars Not as good as expected, 21 Aug. 2011
I wanted some over-ear headphones for travelling and was mostly looking at sennheiser, but didn't want an old model and couldn't afford the newest model so found these Koss headphones instead (right in the middle of the sennheiser prices).

Good reviews and the lifetime warranty (I break all my in-ear headphones so...) made me buy these in the end.

Unfortunately I was pretty disappointed. In almost all areas they are as expected: they look great, have excellent sound quality, a coiled cable (so is much longer that it looks), comes with a nice bag to carry them in and the warranty!

However, they have one massive let down...the volume!! These are not that powerful, on full volume using my pc I don't feel like my ears are about to burst (which is a level of sound I personally like to have). I have still given 4 stars as even at full volume there is no loss in sound quality, and so for anyone who doesn't want an entire plane to hear what they are playing and want quality over deafening volume they are still great.

As for these headphones being heavy (as many other reviews have mentioned), I don't really notice them that much even when wearing them while walking. But possibly a smaller person might...

4.0 out of 5 stars A Good Slasher / Gore Film, 19 Feb. 2011
This review is from: Invitation Only [DVD] [2009] (DVD)
This film is more of a slasher than a horror, its main focus is the gore. The synopsis given on this page is fairly poor and I wouldn't say it really sums up this film well!

After a quick background of how the main character gets an invitation to an exclusive party, he quickly meets several other "new members" of this select guest list. You quickly find out that each of them is pretending to be someone else to get into the party, and that they have been allowed entry as the entertainment rather than as guests. I wont say much more about the story (ill let you find that out yourself!), but the film them quickly starts off into a very well done gore filled movie.

The movie is very well done, with an actually good story and better than normal gore. The acting is good throughout and the scenes very well done. The only downsides of this movie are the few random nonessential scenes and the odd plot holes that crop up.

Overall this is definitely worth buying as a good slasher / gore film, but not really worth buying if thats not what your looking for.

4.0 out of 5 stars Worth it for the twist!, 13 Feb. 2011
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Walking the Dead [DVD] (DVD)
The first thing I should mention is that there is not really much gore at all (as the cover suggests there will be), so not worth buying if this is what you are looking for.

This is a pretty good film which starts off fairly poorly, but gets much better about half way through when the storyline actually seems to start! You have to really stick watching it as this film keeps seeming to be going nowhere with some slow moments, and too many pointless films which aren't only needed but instead take something away from the film. There is however a great twist in the end!

The idea of the "walkers" (who are suppose to bring the dead back to their home towns for burial) gone wrong is very well used and a great new take on why the dead are alive, but after finding out the twist it does make you wonder why all these dead have been brought back to life! (hard to explain why without giving away the twist!)

The acting is pretty good overall but then is also ruined slightly by awful acting from the newspaper in America.

The film is well done, and only slightly comes across as having a low budget, but you really can tell when it does! One of the worst parts of the film is the nature of the "walking dead" in this film makes little sense, with them switching between mindless drones to killers which can speak and move around as normal.

Worth watching if only for the excellent twist at the end!

Breathless is an amazing film for its budget, and a definite must buy!

It does lack any kind of normal cinema thrills due to its limited resources, but more than makes up for that in its raw content, the acting is pretty much perfect and the story both exciting and intriguing.

The quality of film and camera work is not up to normal cinema standard, but this ends up working for the movie, with the rough camera shots very appropriate for the style of the film. The only real downside to Breathless is that it is a very long movie, which for the main part keeps you very occupied but has some parts that just seem to drag on too long.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not all that bad!, 23 Jan. 2011
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Zombie Wars [DVD] (DVD)
Yes this movie is pretty cheap and nowhere near a blockbuster, but then it also has done very well for what it had. The acting and special effects aren't great, but are a lot better than the majority of low budget films out there.

I did like the movie though, especially its take on the zombies. This film is not about a zombie outbreak as almost all others are, it is instead about humans living in a world that has already been destroyed by the zombies and doing the best they can in a world ruled by zombies. Semi-intelligent zombies as well!

If you don't like budget films and will only watch the blockbusters then this film is not for you and don't even consider buying it. However, if you enjoy watching cheap movie that do well with what they have, or want something a little different then Zombie Wars is for you. Take a gamble can't really go wrong for a few pounds!

5.0 out of 5 stars So Much More Than Expected!, 23 Jan. 2011
This review is from: The Guard Post [DVD] (2008) (DVD)
I bought Guard Post expecting it to be mostly some sort of slasher horror, with a lot of action and gore; but it turned out to be so much more!

It is actually more of a thriller/mystery/horror, and one of the best I have seen at that. Throughout the movie there are clever twists and turns which completely change your impressions of what has happened and why, keeping you on the edge of your seat. This film is almost 2 hours long and I didn't feel like it was dragged out at all!

While it is not a film that will leave you scared by its horror elements, or amazed by its few action scenes, it will keep you completely engaged throughout.

This film has very good acting and directing throughout, and comes across as a high budget film (doesn't look cheap or tacky at all), I also feel that because it is not in English it is important to point out that it has perfect subtitles and I didn't notice any translations that didn't make sense.

Overall this is a great film, but not a great buy if all you are after is horror/gore.

5.0 out of 5 stars A game that once again exceeds expectations!, 8 Oct. 2010
I have always liked every PES game more than every Fifa game and dont want this review to be saying which game is better, as I think everyone prefers one and is unlikley to change their minds.

If like me you are a PES fan then you have to buy this game! PES 2011 is by far the best in the series yet.

The graphics are the great, the gameplay is more flowing than ever, and you have even more control than in the previous games.
Pretty much everything about this version is improved from the previous games.

The only change that is slightly annoying is the tactic screen which is alot different to previous PES games, but once you get used to it im sure it is an improvement because it allows for your "manager" to select tacticts for you based on the style you want to play.

There are also far more options in the edit mode, which im sure some people will use far more than me.

Overall I cant see a way this game could be any better and is a must buy for any football fan!
