For some reason, it seems that just about everyone out there making bootcut jeans has decided they have to be pre-aged or distressed in some way - even unfashionable companies like M&S.
So there is some irony that it's taken a `vintage' style clothing firm to give us a pair that haven't been mucked around with, that don't have the same identical wash marks as everyone else, and just look like a good pair of deadstock 70s jeans.
Downsides - not many - there's a zip rather than button fly, they're a little more flared than I'd personally prefer, and it would be nice if you could get them in a thicker denim - but they're perfect summer jeans.
