4.0 out of 5 stars A good value toy cot, 12 Feb. 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I bought this as a present for my 4 year old daughter. I was torn between it and some of the more expensive wooden versions. It arrived quickly and was easily assembled. It is quite light and I'm not sure it will survive her younger brother, hence not worthy of 5 stars. However it is bright and colourful and she enjoys playing with it. It fits her standard size dolls perfectly (eg baby born). The lightweight nature which I am marking it down slightly for has actually turned out to be a benefit as she can move it about easily, unlike some of her other wooden toys. If you are looking for a collectable item then I would recommend one of the wooden cots but if you are looking for a cheap and cheerful toy which will provide hours of fun this has proved ideal

4.0 out of 5 stars Less illustrations than some other disney books, 12 Feb. 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I bought this to read with my 4 year old daughter after we both enjoyed the film. This is certainly more of a novel than a picture book and although there are nice illustraions in the centre, these are not interspersed throughout the book as with most of her other books (which I would have known had I read the other reviews more carefully). I think she will enjoy this book more when she gets a little older but for now I think she would lose interest as a bedtime story so it may be put to the back of the bookshelf for a while. Perhaps more suitable for a slightly older child

5.0 out of 5 stars As tasty as it looks, 12 Feb. 2014

This book arrived quickly and seemed reasonable value for money. The book is well laid out and the illustrations are lovely and very appetising. Lots of tempting recipes and easy to follow. Most of the ingredients used are easy to find and the recipes dont include lots of random specific ingredients that you will use once and then clutter the cupboard. So far everything I have made has gone down well. A great addition to the book shelf for anyone who does school bake sales or just for your own enjoyment.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent training scissors, 12 Feb. 2014

I bought these for my 4 year old who is learning scissor skills at nursery. They arrived quickly and were very good value for money. They were advertised as being able to cut paper but not hair or fingers etc. I tried these out before using them with my daughter and yes they cut paper ( a minimum requirement for scissors) but was more surprised to find that they didnt cut through a strand of hair which baffled me. Obviously still need parental supervision but so far a great tool for learning scissor skills
