A delightful story, full of wit, that emerges you in the antics of two young misfits who decide to make a film. It charts their growing friendship and eventual rise to "star status" among the other pupils at a rather humdrum secondary school. Of particular note is the visit of a group of French exchange students and the hero worship given to a foppishly dressed young lad. The characterization of the teachers is spot on.
I loved the "filming" sequences, they reminded me of the adventures me and my brother had when we were young.
The final scenes are poignant. At film for your collection.
