These are fantastic little spinning tops. At this price, they are a real bargain but they don't look at all cheap. Highly recommend.

TeckNet® Apple iPad 4 Case, Smart Cover PU Leather with Flip Stand & Lifetime Guarantee + Included 1 Screen Protector and Stylus Pen For Apple iPad 2 iPad 3 iPad 4 - Lifetime Warranty

3.0 out of 5 stars good for the price but has issues, 18 Jan. 2013
This is a solid enough piece of kit which will adequately fulfil the task of protecting your ipad. It isn't the sleekest of designs. If you want something that looks good, you'll need to look elsewhere and, moreover, the sturdy surround gets in the way. Personally, I don't use this. I found something much neater, better looking and more user-friendly on Etsy. It was also more expensive though.

1.0 out of 5 stars useless, 12 Aug. 2011

These are pretty useless. They are not at all well built and tend to break when they spring. I've been through three already. Will buy something sturdier in future.

Sinister Resonance: The Mediumship of the Listener
Sinister Resonance: The Mediumship of the Listener
by David Toop
Edition: Hardcover

3.0 out of 5 stars Hugely disappointing, 8 Dec. 2010
I so wanted to like this book but it really is a pale travesty of what it might have been. Toop is clearly very interested (I would hesitate to say passionate, as passion is the last thing to emerge through the prose here) in this topic and has clearly read very widely in putting the book together. What is not so clear is that he has understood what he has read. He draws indiscriminately on philosophy, psychology, neuroscience, myth, art, throwing ideas down as plods on unconcerned with making any sense of what he is relating and unclear as to what he is himself trying to say. At times it comes across as though Toop has been utterly defeated by not only his sources but, moreover, his own language as it slips out from his grasp and leaves the reader suffocating in excessive and ultimately meaningless sentences. There is, I think, a wealth of interesting ideas somewhere in the background of this book but Toop is no writer and is evidently not up to the challenge of grappling convincingly with or conveying these ideas.

1.0 out of 5 stars Poison, 15 Sept. 2010
I was asked to read this by a friend. It is a horrid, poisonous little book. Essentially it provides numerous one-sided examples to arm the reader with the ammunition to label her partner passive-aggressive. If you have been tempted to buy this book, you really need to be asking yourself why. Is your relationship so hopeless, so empty, so false that your best idea of improvement is to reduce your partner to a label which will likely result in no communication? If so, would you not be better off simply ending it? If you really want to help your relationship, keep in mind that a relationship always involves two people and you both need to work to make it work. Reducing someone to a label is never going to help a relationship.

Dante's Inferno 2-26 November 1983
Dante's Inferno 2-26 November 1983
by Phillips T
Edition: Paperback

3.0 out of 5 stars Nine Prints, 8 Jan. 2008
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This is a small paperback of nine prints from Tom Phillips's translation of Dante's Inferno and not the whole thing as the listing suggests. Tom Phillips fanatics will perhaps want this but for most others it is probably superfluous.
