Normally, every film Morgan F appears in means it's a no go for me. Awful negative subject matter creating an awful film appealing to the lowest of the low only.

4.0 out of 5 stars A fine trumpet player, 18 Mar. 2014

HST gives me the impression that he's treating the subjects and situations in this book rather glibly....at first, until one remembers that his subject matter is the....USA and if he appears to be blowing his own trumpet, he needs to! To be heard above the madness
inflicted upon a nation by it's abject and corrupt leaders and system. It's this that HST makes you realise, that....eternal [personal]
vigilance is the price of [personal] freedom, these days in the bad new USA.

I can sympathise with most opinions here wether 1 or 5 star. As younger men they created sounds haunting, remorse filled and often joyfull too. The world has changed since BoC first came onto the scene and mostly for the bad. I have a notion that they are sensitive to these changes which is reflected in this offering to us and as such I personally don't subcsribe to the view that they have taken advantage of their 8 year hiatus and used it as a marketing ploy for a weak/ indifferent album. There are times on this album that absorb me totally, when the sounds seem to permeate my body and being as has been the case with prevoious BoC albums. There are also little bits that can annoy me. But whereas with some other artists those annoying bits always annoy, they diminish over time with BoC. On the whole a marvelous achievement.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fabulous Speakers, 23 Jan. 2013
Edifier Studio 2.0 Professional audio system with low-noise, high-fidelity amplifier Having seen these on offer for £69 at Overclockers inc free delivery, I thought "can't lose". If they sound like £69 speakers then its ok bcos that's what I paid for them. The full price was £79 and I wud have been very happy to have paid that and a delivery charge now that I have had them for 1 month. The build quality is first rate. They are at times astonishing. Classical, Jazz, Rock and electronic music all sound superb thru these altho you Dub Step afficionados will find deep bass lacking. Piano and horns are marvelously reproduced as are fat analogue synth sounds in a setting where I have the speakers just over 2 meters apart with me sitting about 2 meters away. I noticed these RT2's have been upgraded to RT3's and are twice as powerful with different base units. As yet I have been unable to find a review for the RT3's [written] or a UK supplier and price, as going off my experience with the 2's the 3's have got to be a no brainer.

This music [for me] has more to it than meets the ear on first listen. It has tended to open up more and more each time i have listened to it, revealing more of the personality of its composer than the genre it may lie
within. I only wish I cud obtain more recent compositions too.

4.0 out of 5 stars All of the above ...But, 16 April 2008
I left my Altec Lansing MX5021's in France which as well as a remote for
bass, treble and volume has a little box that sits on your desk that performs the same functions as the remote. So u can adjust the bass from zero bass to maximum to mid bass in a flash. The sound quality of these speakers are fabulous and will handle all genres with alacrity. It was the sales assistant that persuaded me to order the AE's - and the reviews here.

The bass settings on the AE's are at the back of the bass unit which is not so conveniently accessible. As one reviewer above said, setting 3 is for bass heads, even setting 2 is more than enough [for me]. But even on setting 1 I sometimes have to stop a track to stop my neighbours wall caving in. Its this lack of control over the bass settings that have led me to return the speakers and re buy the AL's which I shud have done in the first place. The AE's come with a load of other wiring that was totally redundant [to me]. I'd have rather not have the superfluous wiring
and pay another tenner to have the same flexibility of sound control that I have with the AL's. Sonically they are similar but I get a little more
definition at the mid ranges with the AL's.
