5.0 out of 5 stars A plethoric multitude of excellence, 1 May 2003
This is by far one of my favourite collections of poetry. With works such as 'Another Reason Why I Don't Keep a Gun In The House' and an amusing parody on the Three Blind mice, you can't go wrong. As a writer myself, I am always keen to gain inspiration from the teachings of others; I assure you that with this book, there is no limit to the depths into which the mind can delve.
A great collection from an increasingly great and witty author!

5.0 out of 5 stars A new vision to an old concept, 30 April 2003
At last. After years of waiting....maybe since the likes of Dark Crystal ..... a film has come along which is truly inspirational. Yes, the idea of the reality game show is tired. Yes, the characters are stereotypical and yes, there is little explanation to what the film is actually hinting at, but this is what makes it so great. It's about time someone came along with enough guts to make a film about an idea that's been, let's face it, repeatedley worn out. What seperates this from others in the genre is the fantastic display of acting talent....and yes to all you ne'er believers, it is actually hard to act stereotypically. Then, of course, there's the camera shots. The impression of the hidden surveillance cameras dictating out every view is not only innovative but amazingly effective. I can also honestly say that the twist at the end is superb, I for one (and all the people I know) did not see THAT coming. The days of the killer being hidden till the end are dead because, as quoted in the film, statistically you are much more likely to be killed by someone you know than by a complete stranger. Brilliant.

5.0 out of 5 stars Izzard just gets better, 19 Nov 2002
This review is from: Eddie Izzard : Circle [DVD] (DVD)
This is amazing!! Eddie has gone from strength to strength during the past decade and it has resulted in this, a DVD packed full of laughs. His stage presence is as strong as ever and his jokes more witty and intelligent (naturally 'jam' and 'James Mason' are mentioned). Is there no limit to what this man can acheive?
As far as the DVD itself is concerned.....full marks. The picture quality and sound quality are brilliant and really create the right atmosphere for the genre. Take into account the extras (including a very amuzing 'Circle Tour' fearture) and you can't go wrong. Fantastic!!
