The screen arrived marked. The product itself worked fine; however it arrived with "bubble" marks on the main screen.
If this wasn't on a heavily discounted sale I wouldn't recommend it. At £30; it's still a good deal but be wary of condition when you get it.

5.0 out of 5 stars I have actually dropped the thing several times and it remains as good as they I bought it, 11 Nov. 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This has lasted me 2 years. As a newbie, I bought it for DCS (Digital combat simulator). It worked without having to configure anything. No drivers needed on windows, simply plug in and play.

For the price, this is an amazingly solid and well built joystick, I have actually dropped the thing several times and it remains as good as they I bought it. The cable fairly long, about 2 meters, allowing me to play from the couch. The joystick itself is very comfortable with your hand resting nicely on the bottom cup.

Overall if you are new, looking for a cheap joystick, this is fantastic value. 5 stars.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great game best played on pc, 20 Aug. 2012
= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
The pc version of the title is well prices (it's actually cheaper than a typical pc game) with a fantastic built version using DX11, higher res textures and a near constant 60fps easily. The game takes about 15-20 hours to finish. Great combat system similer to Arkham titles and an interesting Hong Kong setting. The story is ok, nothing amazing. Highly recomended.

For the price you are getting all this content at, you sir, are a theif.
Two of the greatest strategy titles made with hunderds of hours of gameplay. Cutting edge graphics. epic scale with epic soundtracks to go with them.
This is easily one of the best game deals you can get on amazon. A cracking price for a pair of cracking games +all DLC.

5.0 out of 5 stars Refined Epic, 30 Jun. 2012
= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
I spent roughly 9 hours on the "hisortical battles". That is simply one aspect of the game. And already it is offering more value than alot of games.

"Napoleons campaign" another aspect of gameplay can easily eat up 40 hours. These tend to be slightly more linear than a typical Total War title but on the plus side they offer more narrative. It feels alot more personal.

Then you have the "coolision campaigns" in which you can play as France, as well as the opposing teams with there own victory conditions. These play like your typical Total War title.

Multiplayer, while not as great as Shogun 2 is another aspect. Humans are far superior to the AI so this can make for far more challenging gameplay. Many hours to be had.

Content wise, this game has more in it's box than several games. So value for money is exceptionally good.

Graphically, it is superior to Empire. The polygon count of the models is about 8 times higher. It also has more of an artistic flair than Empire.

The downside is that this lacks the scale of Empire. It is slightly toned down. However it is a better, more refined and polished game.
Cant go wrong with this one. Pick up it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic, 18 Jun. 2012
= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Max Payne 3 (PC DVD) (DVD-ROM)
Very good on the pc. Be warned though, this isn't like the old Max Payne titles. If you can accept and get past that, chances are you will have a good time.

First thing worth noting, the pc version was built alongside the console version. It runs and looks superb. I have (roughly speaking) a mid end system and it runs a solid 60fps maxed out. Gameplay is more or less the same as the older titles barring wallcover. The game operates better with the mouse and keyboard over a control pad imo.

If I had one problem, I feel it has one too many on-the-rail sections. The cutscenes didn't really bother me, Max payne is about the story-telling just as much as the action.

Sadly, I dont really have any interest in multiplayer, so I cant talk about that aspect. I doubt you are buying it for that anyway.

Well prices... none of this £34/£39 greed and plays well. It's fair to say it will probably be one of the best action titles on the pc this year.

1.0 out of 5 stars Overpriced and doesn't work, 15 May 2012
= Fun:1.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Diablo III (PC/Mac DVD) (DVD-ROM)
The online component simply put... doesn't work. It is overloaded and the main reason for many purchasing. The game is also overprioed. Typical pc games cost £29.99. This is £32 and £34 in cost because... they can. They know they have a popular title so they overcharge.

I would recomend waiting for Torchlight II. It will be about 1/3 the price of this title, have working multiplayer. Wont have built in gold forming. Wont ban you for using mods. And allow you to use lan.

1.0 out of 5 stars Overpriced, 22 April 2012
= Fun:1.0 out of 5 stars
Being a fan of the original Guild Wars I was looking forward to this. However the price point wreaks of greed. A typical pc game costs around £24 - £29 Here, because they know they have a "hot" game (similar to activision with call of duty) they have bumped up the price... because they can. I really wish pc gamers would make a stand against such price points.

The game itself (having played the beta) is fun. The argument of "no monthly fees" is moot. Alot of MMO's now use a free2play model (without actually buying the game) with microtransactions. Which is what this game will be using, along with you dropping the huge price tag.

Standard pc game price is £29.99 for the price here, you are paying more and getting what is, an un-finished product that may or may not even work.
Don't waste your time, wait for a steam sale when it's patched up about 6-7 months from now.
