Not really impressed. The football (real football) team play a sries of games soon but you’ve not added them to your schedules. So keep watching the other football played by tarts who have to wear protection in case somebody grabs their little finger !

Pfannenstiel was a journeyman footballer who made the most of what he had. This is a ’real’ autobiography about a footballer who went for it and had an extraordinary career. Enjoy it for what it is !

4.0 out of 5 stars John White, 24 Feb. 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
My father won money on the 'double-winning' side of 1960-1961 and I knew all of their names before I knew all of the United players back in the sixties (I'm a United fan). This biography of one of the best midfielders ever is an obvious 'labour of love' but it is also a beautifully written book. Cherish the legend because John White truly was one !
