5.0 out of 5 stars Great customer service, 1 May 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I bought one of these a couple of weeks ago for my new HX300. It was lost in the post - I contacted Gem via Amazon - within a few minutes one of their staff contacted me by telephone, and arranged to send another, which arrived two days later. Very pleased with this case which is the perfect size for this type of camera.

A great new song from Tracey Thorn - combining the celebration of this time of year with a big dose of melancholy in her wonderful voice - this is the acoustic version.

The Colour of Death

2.0 out of 5 stars The author has obviously never been to Shetland!, 21 Jun 2012
This review is from: The Colour of Death (Hardcover)
Doomdochry? McAllister Clan? Lloyd obviously thinks that Shetland is full of shortbread, tartan and wee white doggies. Shetland is norse in heritage, not celtic. Better research next time please.

1.0 out of 5 stars Please don't use this!, 24 Mar 2012
I used this product to try to deal with a flea infestation in my home. It didn't work. What's more I believe this product to be dangeruos to cats.

5.0 out of 5 stars Blast from the past, 1 Jan 2012
This review is from: Cool (MP3 Download)
I remember seeing this record in indie record shops a couple of decades ago but not knowing anything about the band. I heard a version of the track on Ravenscroft's BBC 6 music show a few months ago and downloaded it immediately. The song is hard to describe apart from to say it has unique vocals which sem to follow exactly what the guitarist is doing. Musically it is a bit like Magazine I suppose. Well worth a listen.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderfully odd, 1 Jan 2012

If only more of the Moz-ster's stuff was like this - a swirling whirlpool of strangeness with Kate-Bush-esque backing vocals

4.0 out of 5 stars Worth buying, 1 Jan 2012
I was worried about buying this item having read some of the reviews but am pleased to write that it works very well and is easy to use. I found that I needed to play around with the settings a bit to get good results - use the "gain" control to get louder, beefier recordings. Have only given 4 stars because I found that I had to reset the sound a couple of times after plugging in the USB cord.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great idea, 10 Oct 2009
Received this book from Amazon just after it was published and have already finished it despite the fact that I'm supposed to be revising for an exam...It's a wonderful miscellany of stories, "how-to" lists, guides to xmas reading, film and TV and a whole lot more. Stand-out chapters for me include Richard Dawkins' very funny Jeeves and Wooster spoof (I think that the atheist bus canpaign should use his new version of the slogan in the next campaign), Simon Singh's The Sound of Christmas and Sian Berry's remarkably unstuffy guide to a green xmas. Buy a copy and place it amongst the other decorations.

1.0 out of 5 stars The stench of the post-modern, 19 Aug 2009
Very dissapointed in this VSI - learned more about Morales' own obsessions than anything useful about classical mythology
