4.0 out of 5 stars Outstanding so far, 19 May 2011
I have had these Headphones for about 2 months, they work brilliantly with the ipod touch, saving you unlocking the screen to pause. Shame it doesn't have the ability to skip track. Hopefully they don't break like most headphones i've owned

5.0 out of 5 stars Almost as Good as the West Wing, 10 April 2008
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This is the new drama/comedy series from the great writer Aaron Sorkin and the brilliant producer Thomas Schlamme. These were two of the crucial men involved in the creation of the west wing and if you are fans you probably already watched this on TV and have your own opinions.

The basic plot is that studio 60 on the sunset strip is the friday night flag ship show of the network 'NBS'. It is a late night sketch show and for years has been going downhill. Its creator, chief writer and executive producer after a rant which you see in the first episode has been fired. This requires the network to hire previously fired writer Matt Albie (Matthew Perry/Chandler from Friends) and Producer Danny Trypp (Bradley Whitford/Josh Lyman from the West Wing).
The series with some trials and tribulations is based upon the show and its creation every week and unlike a previous review i love some of the sketches in the 'show' itself.
If You are a fan of the west wing you will recognise much of the cast, from Danny, the Reporter, The deputy chief of staff for the Santos Campaign, Matthem Perry who played joe Quincy the associate White house council.
This is a great start and i promise it is brilliant. However it has been cancelled but it may br returning i can only hope.

5.0 out of 5 stars Will you like this album?, 30 Oct. 2007
This review is from: Radio 1's Live Lounge (Audio CD)
This album has many different artists, playing many different genres with a lot of crossover with the covers. I have found that people who like this album will not like all of it. But do not let this put you off. I like 28 out of the 40 songs and for the price it is definately worth it. If your tastes in music are very mainstream(pop, hip hop RnB, songs that do very well in singles charts) you will like most of this album. Only a few of the songs like maybe Queen of the stone ages may not suit your tastes. If your music is more away from the mainstream in the way of foo fighters, green day, blink 182 and coldplay(songs that do well in the album charts but not so well in the singles charts), you will also like most of this album, particularly from artists you like such as the foo fighters. You may be surprised to enjoy songs you don't like by artists you don't like, such Jamelia's verson of the linkin park's Numb. But you probably won't enjoy, 50 cent in da club and outkast. This is the category i am in. Then there is the final category. If your the type of person who when is asked what he is listening the the person says who the hell are they, proceed with caution, i'd recommend listening to a few songs on you tube before buying. The best thing overall about this album is hearing artists sing the most mainstream of songs and making them much better in the case of boy kill boy - maneater. Overall this album is a great testament to the brilliance of live music and one that will surprise you and change your opinion of some artists.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect, 5 July 2007
This review is from: Ocean Avenue (Audio CD)
This album is perfect. Has everything, good guitar solos, great front man and the violinist brings a special x factor which seperates them to most punk rock bands, put it simply my favourite album of my favourite band. Album starts off upbeat, fast and then towards the end slows down with some great mellow tracks. I also reccommend 'one for the kids' and 'lights and sounds but anything before then is rubbish(different frontman). I have recently bought there new album Paper Walls and its very Similar to this and brilliant also.

5.0 out of 5 stars Masterpiece!!, 2 Nov. 2006
The best you can buy!! 5 stars and this one really deserves it. And i relise this is £110 but i cannot articulate how it is worth so much more. Characters witty, intelligent, acting hard hitting and friendly. A show with real opinions and issues. You will learn more facts than any other drama and your look on the world will be new.
Each season is slightly different than the last with varying stories.
Season 1 (my favourite) is the first year of the Presidency of Josiah Bartlett. Highlights include the appointment of a supreme court judge who can't keep his mouth shut, Sam (Rob Lowe) and the call girl and CJ (Allison Janney) mimeing to the Jackel.
Season 2 concentrates more on President's Bartlett illness and the final episode of its announcement with one of the greatest cliffangers. Also introduces a great charcter in the way of Ainsley Hayes, a conservative republican in a liberal democrat white house.
Season 3 is the repercussions of that announcement of Bartletts' illness and the start of his reelection. Also includes two powerful storylines one of genocide in a made up African country, Kwundoo and the theoretical first humanitarian invasion in history. The other about a terrorist secretary of defence for a made up Middle east country of Qumar and his assasination.
Season 4 is about the Bartlett reelection and finally the kidnapping of the Presidents' Daughter at the end.
Season 5 starts where season 4 ends with the kidnapping of the Presidents' daughter. However season 5 has no major story throughout the season which is probably why it is the worst out of them all (still good though) but does have some memorable episodes inculding the shutdown of government over failed budget negotiations and the flare up of Israel and Palestine.
Season 6 starts with the Israel/Palestine and the peace negotiations that follow. The season moves to the democratic nomination for President.
Season 7 the final year. Firstly most episodes are not really about the West Wing rather than the battle for it but this is great particularly the actual live debate betwee the candidates. There is also one other major story is with the President and that is the invasion of Kazakhstan to stop WWIII between China and Russia(no understatement). However something tragic does occur. The actor John Spencer who plays Leo, died whilst making this series, Martin Sheen says some words on the subject, and the funeral of the character is portrayed brilliantly. Then its the end of Bartlett presidency where the final episode is sad but brilliant, after seven series you will be a new person.

You will love the characters and feel with them through their highs and lows, in other words its about 6200 minutes of gripping, funny, intelligent, heart warming, hard hitting, eye opening, beautiful drama. Enjoy.
