5.0 out of 5 stars what a story!, 4 Jan 2011
I waited several weeks longer than expected for this book to arrive and when it did it was too late for intended purpose but when I read the story I forgot all about the delay. Short but succinct and so thought provoking.

4.0 out of 5 stars useful, 18 Mar 2010
I bought this book for children requiring reinforcement with number work. It has very useful pages at the start of each section with key/useful facts and offers lots of repetitive practise.

3.0 out of 5 stars interesting but not quite what I expected, 20 July 2009
I bought this book as a result of an excellent review in Scholastic Junior Ed magazine. It isn't quite what I expected, children found it difficult to take to, particularly as the first story we read was basically that of Hansel and Gretel.

1.0 out of 5 stars When is a book of riddles not a book of riddles?, 21 Jun 2008
Quite simply, this is a joke book rather than a riddle book. At best, it contains a few, very simple riddles (one or two liners for the most part). Funny but absolutely no use as a teaching aid.
