A timely book which explores the need to increase compassionate ways of working in health and social welfare. Dr Youngson provides suggestions from his own experiences about how to work in stressful and time-pressured situations and still have time to be compassionate towards oneself and those you're caring for. This should be a compulsory read when training to work in health care situations.
A book that provides information about building a more compassionate approach to understanding the cycle so many experience of over-eating then feeling guilty and finding themselves engaged in repetitive dieting. Learning to be kinder on yourself and your eating difficulties. Understanding why you might want to eat more than is helpful for you in a non-blaming way is hopefully the first step towards changing your relationship with food in a positive way.
I was contacted by the seller about my previous comment saying these were not 'Bosemere' flexi balls (as described in the product information) but a cheaper everyday alternative. I now understand these cane joiners are exactly the same ones as supplied to 'Bosemere' but are not labelled as such on the packaging. If you are looking for cane joiners to match Bosemere ones you already use - these are the ones!
