music that is still played on the radio but is beginning to show it belongs to a certain era.

Enjoyed it when I bought it on Vinyl many moons ago. So pleased to have it on CD now.

I've been lokking for items from my childhood and came across this book which I had for Christmas wen I was a kid.
the book was in excellent condition and was delivered promptly.
Even after all these years, the facts are still valid and written in a way that I'm sure would suit today's young people.
well worth getting your own copy

A Complete GCSE Mathematics General Course 3rd Edition
A Complete GCSE Mathematics General Course 3rd Edition
by A. Greer
Edition: Paperback

5.0 out of 5 stars Maths explained clearly, 1 Feb 2010
A Complete GCSE Mathematics General Course 3rd Edition by A Greer is a must have book for anyone who wants to develop their skills, or those of others, in numeracy. Every area the book covers begins with a sound explanation and plenty of opportunity to try for yourself, examples that start you with the basics and develop your skills to a significantly higher level.

Apart from its target audience, the content could be used to support work done at Key Stage 2 as well as in adult education.

The only draw back to using this publication as a self teaching aid is that the reader must, at times, be able to use their own understanding of maths to interpret the language and method in order to be successful with the exercises provided.

It does however provide sound explanations and instructions of how to manipulate and implement number strategies to arrive at the correct answer whilst offering a variety of means and methods.
It provokes deeper thinking which inturn provides better attainment of the subject.
Whether used as a teaching or a learning aid, it is well worth having a copy as it can support school work, better learning and develop self interest.

If you want to improve your numeracy, you'll need this book.

Want to own a Stones cd but unsure which one to buy? After-Math, in my view, is the best album to begin your collection. The Stones have created so many outstanding A Side singles that you expect everything they record to be brilliant. However, some B sides can be some what plain leading to a disappointing expectation. I can put your mind at rest about this one. Every track on the album is great. There is a creative brilliance oozing from the speakers as it plays. There seems to be a familiar feel to the songs even though yo may only have heard them for the first time.
You'll not be disappointed with this album...... enjoy.

I saw this film when it was first released in the cinemas. I've tried for many years to obtain a copy and finally did so thanks to Amazon.
A british film about youth attitudes and characters I can associate with from that period of the 80's.
I enjoyed watching the dvd and remembered some scenes.
A good entertaining British film that is of its time
