4.0 out of 5 stars Primeval - ITV's best attempt at family drama, 12 April 2009
In 2007, ITV1 launched Primeval, an exciting new drama in which prehistoric creatures travel from their time to ours through gaps in time and space known as anomalies. The main premise of each episode is:

Creature comes through anomaly
Professor Nick Cutter and his team of dino-hunters sends it back

Predictable? Not exactly.

Since its launch, Primeval has grown into a very interesting series for Saturday nights. Although I didn't really watch the first series, the second series got me interested. In fact, last night's episode was incredible. There are still seven episodes to go, but it looks set to be a brilliant rest of Series 3.

5.0 out of 5 stars The star of 2007................... MIKA!!!!!, 1 Mar 2008
This review is from: Life in Cartoon Motion (Audio CD)
2007 belonged to one man, and that man is Mika. In January 2007, he scored his first #1 single with Grace Kelly, which remained there for 5 weeks. This was followed by a #1 album, Life In Cartoon Motion, and four more Top 20 singles; Love Today (#6), Big Girl [You Are Beautiful] (#9), Happy Ending (#7) and Relax [Take It Easy]/Lollipop (#18).

There are many fabulous songs on the album, ranging from upbeat songs like Grace Kelly and Lollipop, to mid-tempo marvels like My Interpretation and Relax [Take It Easy], to the brilliant ballad Happy Ending....................................................................

............ and then the strangeness of Any Other World, a ballad with chainsaw cellos.

If you haven't bought this BRIT-nominated album yet, go out and get it.

5.0 out of 5 stars The best Christmas episode so far!!!!!!!!!!!!, 27 Dec 2007
2007 has been an incredible year for Doctor Who. 13 fabulous episodes that formed Series 3 and this record breaking Christmas Special, Voyage Of The Damned.

Kylie Minogue makes a guest appearance as Astrid Peth, a waitress onboard the Titanic, which isn't the one that sunk back in 1912. Once again, director James Strong makes every character stand out, David keeps on getting better and better and Kylie was quite possibly the best one-off companion ever.

So buy this DVD on 10 March 2008, or wait for the Series 4 boxset in November 2008. All in all, a brilliant episode!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And look out for a fantastic new theme tune as well.

5.0 out of 5 stars Sexy! YES YES YES, 3 Sep 2007
This review is from: Sexy! No No No (Audio CD)
Since 2002, Girls Aloud have had 15 top ten singles in a row. Yet, it's hard to believe that they came off a reality TV show.

And so, they release Sexy! No No No. An incredible first single from their fourth studio album. I just love it. And the B-side Dog Without A Bone sounds like a future single.

This CD single also includes a live version of the classic Something Kinda Ooooh, the Tony Lanezma Remix of Sexy! No No No and the strange video of it as well.

16th single
4th #1?

Let's hope so!!!!!

Their next single Call The Shots and their new album will be out in November.

5.0 out of 5 stars YOU WILL BE EXTERMINATED!!!!!!!!!!!!!, 14 May 2007
The Daleks are back in this volume which contains 4 more brilliant episodes from Series 3: Daleks In Manhattan, Evolution Of The Daleks, The Lazarus Experiment and 42.

To start off, we've got Daleks In Manhattan, a brilliant first part in which the Daleks are hiding under the Empire State Building and Dalek Sec becomes half-human.

Then in the concluding part, Evolution Of The Daleks, the Daleks do what they do best...... exterminate everyone (starting with Solomon, then Dalek Sec, and finally the Dalek Humans). But at least Laszlo the pig guy survived.

Next, it's The Lazarus Experiment, which has an extremely scary skeleton/scorpion monster and also look out for a big reference to Mr. Saxon who you will see in the flesh in the last two episodes of Series 3.

And finally, 42, in which the Doctor (David Tennant) and Martha (Freema Agyeman) land on a spaceship that's 42 minutes away from crashing into the Sun.

Overall, I'd say that Evolution Of The Daleks is the best episode on DVD, just because it's got Daleks in it and the scariest is 42.

David and Freema rock!!!!!!!!
Doctor Who rocks!!!!!!!
Daleks rock!!!!!!!!!!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Have you met Miss Jones?, 15 April 2007
Doctor Who's back with the same old Doctor and a brand new companion, Martha Jones. The first three episodes of the third series don't disappoint, neither does Martha.

Smith And Jones is possibly the best series opener of Doctor Who ever. Not only does it introduce Martha Jones (Freema Agyeman), but it also has incredible special effects and the Judoon are so cool.

The Shakespeare Code is another delight from the past as the Doctor (David Tennant) meets a genius that is almost clever as him. Also look out for the scary Carrionites.

Gridlock is my favourite episode on the volume, because the special effects are fab, there's the sad death of the Face Of Boe and the return of the Macra after 40 years away from the series. And also I love episodes set in the future.

So, go out and buy this DVD on 21 May 2007 and keep watching Series 3 of Doctor Who.

To finish off, here is a list of release dates for the remaining volumes:

Volume 2 (Daleks In Manhattan, Evolution Of The Daleks, The Lazarus Experiment, 42): 25 June 2007

Volume 3 (Human Nature, The Family Of Blood, Blink): 23 July 2007

Volume 4 (Utopia, The Sound Of Drums, Last Of The Time Lords): 20 August 2007

5.0 out of 5 stars The Doctor meets Donna, the runaway bride in this Xmas special, 11 Feb 2007
Firstly, I would like to point out that this volume is not called Series 3 Volume 1, but The Runaway Bride, cos that is the only episode on the disc. The actual Series 3 Volume 1 comes out on 7 May (containing Smith And Jones, The Shakespeare Code and the as-yet-untitled episode 3).

Basically, the Doctor (David Tennant) has just lost Rose and seconds after saying goodbye, Donna (Catherine Tate) shows up inside the Tardis, moments before she's about to get married. As the Doctor races to get Donna to the church on time, the Empress Of The Racnoss watches inside her spaceship. Why is Donna the key to an ancient plot to destroy the Earth? Can the Doctor get over losing Rose? And can he stop the Empress and her army of Robot Santas?

This will easily be a great DVD.

And, Amazon?

Make sure you change the title of this to Doctor Who: The Runaway Bride to avoid confusion.
