1.0 out of 5 stars The DVD the world shouldn't have seen...., 21 Jun. 2009
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Remember Foreigner? Lou Gramms great vocals, the catchy tunes?

This DVD captures the bands 25th anniversary in 2002, reunited with Lou Gramm. Knowing that in 1997 Gramm underwent surgery to remove a brain tumor and the medications he was prescribed caused considerable weight gain and affected his singing voice, it wasn't an good ides. I couldn't care less for the weight gain, but the Voice isn't thee any more. Furthermore, no one in the band looks like they want to be there, even Jones' normally great guitar play seems forced.

Then there's the production of the DVD. Its a single cam shot, from the mixer i think, the picture looks like a cheap homemovie and is absolutely no fun to watch.

I would recommend getting the "Alive and Rocking" DVD with the new lineup from 2006 instead, its much, much better.

1 Star because I couldn't bring myself to give my old (jukebox) heros zero.....

4.0 out of 5 stars Well worth it just for the PJ..., 8 Sept. 2007
If you get this, and only like the Pearl jam cover of Mary, then you've got your moneys worth. But theres a lot of great stuff here, other then the PJ track.

4.0 out of 5 stars Almost perfect, 22 Dec. 2006
only distraction point being the "change of clothes" doing songs on the paradiso set makes it feel more then a music video rather then a live video. Otherwise perfect!

4.0 out of 5 stars Hard Rocking Boggie Blues, 29 Aug. 2006
This review is from: Bad Machine (Audio CD)
This is the first cd i've heard from mr. Katon, and I love it. Hitting low and dirty, ala ZZ Top of the current century, theres not a bad track among them. Highlights for me was the title track and Lost TV Clicker Blues, the latter mainly because of it rich humourous lyrics. I'll be getting all he has released, you should too!!!
