im not disappointed, 5 Feb 2013
Doesn't get sluggish like last mother board running same chip. Copes with more drives too. Didnt think it was too pricey for the quality and function.

buyer beware, 14 Jun 2011
Careful folks my bulb blew after 4 months, though there supposed to last for years Trying to replace it was impossible on mine, they have over tightened the nut to the fan and not greased it, it's been like trying to undo a weld. that is the only way possible to replace the bulb. or even get to any of the electronics if anything went wrong with that, spent 2 days on it before I decided it was going to be trashed and buying a new lid(not cookshop). I've enjoyed cutting it up into little pieces very much, ready for the recycling bin shame i had to give it one star, zero would have been more appropiate. anyone want to buy my replacement bulbs. total cost so far just over £80

Should I or shouldn't I, 26 April 2011
hoping this handles everything for the next few years East to fit, It took less than 5 min to upgrade included Heatsink and fan adequate for cooling at default 3.4Ghz, not a lot of noise, I can still record acoustic guitar in same room and not notice it My old projects now have dropped to less than half cpu load after previously being maxed out on a Athlon x2 5.2Ghz If I get around to overclocking sometime there's more power there if I need it. new heatsink of course should make running it at 4Ghz quite an easy task Originally I was after a x6 but decided to stick with present motherboard and use the best it could handle, well this is it. I need not have worried, it rocks thanks to andrew above for a good review

has run lovely and stable for a few years now, just upgraded otherwise would still be quite happy using it. all OS ran very fast using this chip, with no overheating problems

good value for the quality, 26 April 2011
not the cheapest but still a good deal for a quality product. Everything tested and all works fine, easy to use and setup. Nero essentials included. Saved me having to buy one each for my 2 desktop pc's used to use a x20 speed burner before this but only burnt at x8 so not bothered that this has a max speed of x8 for DVD's

just excellent, 1 Sep 2010
Bearing in mind you know what your buying this is a cracking board with 3 PCI slots and 2 pcie slots for the dual graphics if desired, Connections for 2 IDE devices and 4 internal Sata's 2 external hot plug Sata sockets and loads of USB's (10) and on-board HD audio This is the third one of these I'm now buying and I expect the same ease of use and trouble free operation that has delighted me. after less than inspiring products in the past As long as I need to run an Am2 board this is my answer to no problem PC'ing

An economical solution, 24 Mar 2010
I'm very happy with this drive , it's given me no problems and is relatively quite as well as saving power. The only thing that I have any gripe about is the installation instructions for use with xp (It comes configured for vista and windows7) It could explain the process which is very eay a lot better. (Lost in translation perhaps? ) But all you need to do is run the allignment program which updates your O/S simple as that A worthwhile product
