3.0 out of 5 stars an entertaining novel, 20 Aug 2013

Love the contest of these books, but I think that the crime plot in itself it's a bit poor and in this novel also the characters lack a bit of character....

For grownups and for children! A kind story, if I may say so... And I really loved the illustrations! :-)

4.0 out of 5 stars Great tennis balls, 13 Jan 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Head ATP Tennisball 4-can (Sports)
I bought these tennis balls after being recommended them by several other people.

They are great, my dog can chew and chew, but she almost never manages to break them.

I dont know if they are good to play tennis with though

5.0 out of 5 stars A pearl for software developers, 18 July 2012
In a time where so many job descriptions contains long lists of company names, version numbers, certificates it is refreshing to pick up a book like this and get back to basis. Software development is not about which language you are using and which version but about solving problems - in a efficient way. If you agree with this, then this book is exactly for you.

It goes through a list of generic problems, looking at data structures and algorithms which to use and why.

I am sending this out as birthday presents, and I will read this book again soon.

4.0 out of 5 stars French mike hammer gets involved in SF story, 7 April 2010
Its not often that SF is successfully mixed with other genres, but this part SF part 'film noir' was quite a page-turner, with a futuristic kinda Laura Croft on one side and a French/American Mike Hammer detective type on the other.

This unlikely pair takes on a big evil, which is trying to destroy a planet, with help of everything from children to nanotechnology.
