5.0 out of 5 stars Makes yer think..., 30 Aug. 2013

If you're interested in ancient legends and whether or not they had a basis in reality this book is for you. If you're of the contemporary 'scientific' and rather orthodox bent of mind then you'll probably hate it. Having said that I think everyone should read this book if only to test how 'open' their minds really are. Mr Velikovsky puts forward a very plausible case in a readable and enjoyable way. Who cares if it's a bit 'far-out'?

Get it.

Read it.

Enjoy!

Although categorised as 'Misanthropology' the over-all tone of this book is of disappointment. We could all do much better but we choose not to: We make up excuses and use religion and philosophy to justify unspeakable acts of cruelty and stupidity. We are a bunch of unreconstructed savages. This book catalogues many instances of how we don't deserve the tag of 'sapiens.' Fascinating reading. Highly recommended.

Still on top form after all this time, Man or Astro-Man are more than capable of kicking 'ass.' Highly recommended.

This is a really smart book. All the main entries are worth a good look and the short profiles of other worthy artists at the back is useful too. Worth it for the chapter on Jandek alone (it had me in stiches but I still wanted to know more.)

Again Joseph P Farrell takes us on another roller-coaster ride through the fringes of science, technology and archaeology. Speculative, maybe but fascinating and thought provoking stuff.

Peculiar and quirky, featuring the ever-watchable Donald Plesance and Max from 'heart to heart' as the gangster. Not quite the film I remembered seeing half of when I was drunk one time but enjoyable none the less.

This is a long game but it's worth sticking with. The graphics are up to the usual good standard, gameplay is straight forward and enjoyable. A fine addition to the existing range.

5.0 out of 5 stars JPF rocks!, 14 Oct. 2012

Another enjoyable tome from Dr Farrell. Slightly bamboozling at times but that's part of the fun. The ideas and info contained within will certainly make you think and lead you to consider and question what you think you 'know' about ancient history.

Thoroughly recommended, especially for those who are happy to tag along with the standard models.

Yet again the mighty 'Wolf come bursting back with their trademark Jet-bonkersness. Recent years have seen better production values but I wouldn't let that put you off. They still kick 'ass.'
