5.0 out of 5 stars Really Funny Movie., 13 April 2008
I'm not gonna say this is a movie for everyone, because it isn't. It has a strange sense of humor, and luckily it fit mine.
I am not going to say this was a perfect movie by any stretch of the imagination, but I thought it was really funny. I was catching up on the comedies of the past year, and this was easily the best non-Apatow related comedy that came out.

That is all.

5.0 out of 5 stars Funny!, 6 April 2006
This book is easily the funniest book I've ever read, barring The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and Without Feathers.
This is essentially a book full of complete bull, but it's dead-pan writing and surreal 'facts' work together perfectly and has a magnificent timing. From Hobos to Lobsters, this book covers all the areas of life. Some bits go on too long and some bits I simply don't understand, but that doesn;t take away anything from this magnificent read.
A must for anyone looking to read a funny book or any book at all.

5.0 out of 5 stars Sheer brilliance, 17 Oct 2004
This series of six episodes is a gripping spectacle. Which spins a thrilling web.
The story is quite simple: A writer with a skin disease slowly slips away into insanity.
But it's brilliance lies in the fact that the story plays on four different levels and each has it's own plotline.
A definite must for any lover of tv since it is probably one of the best things ever produced for tv.
The DVD is high quality with good extras, if not great. And it's definitly worth the price.
Also ignore the Robert Downey Jr. remake. I liked the film, but those ninety minutes just don't compare to the real thing.

5.0 out of 5 stars The worst season but still maginificent., 6 April 2003
That is what this season really is, it isn't bad tv, it is Buffy at it's worst which is still a whole lot better than anything else out there.
The developments were huge, too huge for the writers. The story doesn't pick up until the end. Then it does become very good. But anyway the stories in this season were numerous and therefore some didn't get the treatment they should have gotten. But I do have to say that I do not know how it will look like in a whole, maybe it will seem like an whole other show when watched from begining to the end, instead of a week in between each episode so everything I say now may change on may 12th.
The acting is great and so are the storylines (even when treated badly).
Like every season it has it's ups and downs.
A big up being the renowned Musical-special Once More With Feeling (like I could get through the review without mentioning it). OMWF is a Fan's treat, but I am hoping they put the uncut version on the box-set or else I will have to buy the OMWF DVD (maybe I'll buy it anyway).
Byut I hope there will be enough special features and a Joss Whedon commentary on OMWF.
I'm buying it! Are you?
Bring on the last season!
PS I don't know if the NETWORK has anything to do with it but if it does thank god for the fact that UPN will continue the early UK release in the beautiful package.

The X Files: Season 3 [DVD] [1994]
The X Files: Season 3 [DVD] [1994]

5.0 out of 5 stars The greatest Season of the greatest show!, 25 Feb 2003
Never was there a show better developed than the X-files and when it came to season three it was a major hit.
And the fact that FOX started to give X-Files more money is definatly noticeable when compared to prior seasons these sets and this quality mixed with still original writing of original ideas probably made this one of the best things out there in the magical world of tv.
The better sets and quality reflects on the speciality of the episodes and obviously made it easier for the actors to get into their roles.
Duchovny and Anderson get into their roles much better than the prior seasons.
It's better than the earlier ones simply visual.
And better than the latter because most the writing and ideas were a lot more original.
The myth apisodes are in one word grand and not boring even though the later ones would definatily become just that.
Questions are raised but not forgotten. A definate must for every lover of good t.v.
The package is beautifuland even though the price would seem high to some people the 1080 minutes of spedtacluar tv are definatly worth it!
