5.0 out of 5 stars Neocore Elite HD 9.7 inch tablet, 6 Jun. 2014

I was on the look out for a reasonably priced tablet that could surf the internet, take photos and allow me to watch Netflix and youtube.

After a lot of research weighing up the pros and cons of various tablets, i decided to take a punt on the Neocore. With such stellar reviews i figured it would be worth taking the risk on a brand name i had never heard of.

I am very glad i did , for the price paid (£159.99) this is fantastic value for money.
The screen resolution is fantastic HD footage on Netflix looks great , Reading the small print when web browsing is never less than crystal clear.

Importantly for me the tablet has never lagged when i am zooming in or scrolling up and down a web page , due to the quad core processor.

The camera is decent for a tablet, never going to replace a proper dedicated camera or even my phone but i knew that before hand. Just needed something adequate for taking the odd snap . The quality seems on a par with the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 which i have used.

The acid test for me with any product is, if i could go back in time to before i bought it , knowing what i know now, would i still buy it or spend my money elsewhere. I would definitely still buy the Neocore .

At half the price and even less than some of the big name tablets this is a hugely impressive product that i recommend to anyone.

5.0 out of 5 stars Replacement for HD 600 cable, 4 Jan. 2014

This cable is advertised as a replacement cable for the Sennheiser HD650 headphones. It should also be labelled as being a replacement for the HD600's as well, which is what i bought it for.

After my 600's developed intermittent sound loss in the left hand ear, i looked online for a way to fix this myself so that i would not have to return them. I found multiple suggestions as to what the problem was and how i should go about fixing them. Fixes ranged from using tweezers to stretch a tiny coiled spring inside the ear cup back into shape. Soldering the spring onto a miniscule cable so that the connection is constant.

All of these were either very fiddly and awkward or just potentialy damaging if not carried out perfectly.

The best advice i saw was to fit the replacement cable for the HD650's into my HD600's . Figuring this would be a safer option i gave it a shot. I can report that the cable has worked perfectly since the instant i connected it and has not given me any problems whatsoever after about 4 weeks worth of use. If anyone else has had the same problem with their 600's this cable would be my recommendation for fixing them. The cable is a good deal thicker and better quality than the one it replaced. 5 stars

I dont usually bother writing reviews , but this game is an exception. This is as good a FPS as i have ever played.

Tremendous atmosphere and setting, as well as excellent enemy AI when played on the hardest difficulty settings. The game is tough but never unfairly so. I lost count of the number of epic firefights i was involved in.

It does take a little while to get into it as you get used to the map and where you should be heading initially. The game doesnt lead you by the hand in the same way as the Call of Duty games
but in my opinion it is all the better for that.

I played the game using an Sapphire Radeon HD 5670 1gb and was as near as makes no difference to the highest graphical settings. Gorgeous lighting and weather effects really help to create atmosphere.

I also played it with my Radeon HD 5450 1gb the settings had to be turned down a good deal. In particular the Full Dynamic Lighting (10 fps) but on the lower settings it is still perfectly playable.

Ive played all the big FPS over the years, Goldeneye, Halo, Modern Warfare. This game is as good as any of them, if not better.

This is a dvd that is probably a better purchase for newcomers to KT's music. Provides a career overview from 78's The kick inside up until her most recent release 05's Aeriel. Each album is looked at in chronological order and discussed for about 10 mins each, by a selection of music journo's. it also has a few interviews Kate gave at the time of each albums release. Although you could probably watch these on Youtube and in a longer version.

Like i said for a long term fan it probably doesnt tell you anything you didnt already know, but is a good introduction for new fan's.

Another Kate Bush album that gets a bad press. It has a different feel to most of her other albums, it sounds more conventional, like a few other bands from the late 80's have been asked to play on the record. This may be why a lot of the fans seem to prefer her other albums. What this cannot do however is hide the quality of KT's lyrics or her fantastic voice. The stand-out tracks for me are Moments of Pleasure, You're the One and the sublime And So is Love there are another half a dozen cracking songs on here as well. Unfortunately the song where she collaborated with Prince (Why Should i Love You) is probably as bad as i had heard it was. Although this is the only bad point in an otherwise great album. BUY THIS!!!!!
