2.0 out of 5 stars dissapointing, 7 May 2014
I was really let down by this and even though i for the most part enjoyed the picture and was never bored i felt that it was hamped by a complicated and hard to follow plot which even though it might be setting up future films it hurts this picture.the good things are Andrew Garfield as spider man he looks the role and more relaxed, the action is well staged and at times spectacular and dane dehaan is excellent as harry Osbourne.but in all honestly for me the film was also undone by the fact that at no point in the picture did i feel spider man was outmatched and so in that respect i found myself nodding along for the outcome. Watchable but ultimately disapointing

5.0 out of 5 stars The best Batman movie ever, 21 July 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I enjoyed Batman Begins which was good i didn't like the Dark Knight which was overlong and boring but they stepped it up with this film which is not only the best Batman film but an absolute masterpiece as well! Christian Bale gives his best performance yet in the central role and Tom Hardy is the most terrifying on screen comic book villian ive seen yet and Anne Hathaway is Catwoman! The action spectacular and exciting this is an absolute must see!!!

4.0 out of 5 stars much better than word of mouth suggests, 15 Aug 2012
This review is from: John Carter [DVD] (DVD)
due to the very poor word of mouth and poor critical responce i have to say i went into this with very low expectations and after watching the film am happy to say i really enjoyed it.while its far from perfect there much to like taylor kitch is likeable in the lead and dominic west and mark strong make great villians and lynne collins is also good value as the female lead/love interest, the action is impressive and genuinly spectacular in places.the only real flaws are because there are so many characters some sadly get lost in the mix and the film tries to cram too much in places which does slow the action down but overall this is a very entertaining and fun sci/fi action romp that i highly recommend
