Oooooh energy, ah feel your energy. This is by far and away one of the outstanding Jungle/Drum & Bass (whatever you want to call it) albums of all time I rushed to the shop and bought it on double vynal upon released and have never been dissapointed with it. There may have been level problems on the original and I haven;t heard this version (hope it's not the washed down one that followed on CD). I was sorely dissapointed with all the hoo hah about Goldies Timeless cos it ain anything compared to this.....if you haven't got it -buy it

5.0 out of 5 stars New York Massive, 28 Sep 2000

Set it up DJ!, For those of you who are late comers to the wonderful World of Moby this is, indeed, the perfect forerunner to "Play". A Blinding Album with total feeling and emotion pumping all the way through. The beauty of "Into the blue" and "God moving over waters" sit comfortably next to the uplifting hardcore of "Everything is wrong" and "Feeling so reel". Admittedly the Punky tracks kinda fall flat on my Ears, but I can Ignore them simply because the rest of it is so good. Go on, get it, put it in your CD player, and dance around the room like a madman, you WON'T regret it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Outstanding electronica which was well ahead of its time, 13 Jun 2000
This review is from: Ginger (Audio CD)
Well, what can I say this album is a blinder. With Speedy j's early trancey/breackbeaty techno making most present efforts by the man and others hang heads in shame. Nice concept too, with short interludes between some of the tracks to get you ready for the coming beauty of tracks like R2 D2, Pepper and De-Orbit. Technically sound and musically brilliant. If you already have any of the Early Warp artificial intelligence series of albums and not this one you will see you are missing one of the gems of the set.....

4.0 out of 5 stars Forget Plastikman get into the Fuse groove, 10 May 2000
This review is from: Dimension Intrusion (Audio CD)
Fuse's (Richie Hawtins alter ego to Plastikman) Album dimension intrusion is brilliant, far better than the two plastikman albums I have. It has similar minimal techno vibes about it, but so much more. More feeling, more groove, more intensity. If you like good techno/electronica this albim is well worth a listen.

4.0 out of 5 stars The original electronic compilation -BUY IT, 10 May 2000
This review is from: Artificial Intelligence (Audio CD)
If it's quality techno/electronica you're after you've found it in AI, yes AI2 is groundbreaking "relaxing" music, but it can get a tad boring, what with Aphex's clonks and stuff. All you need to do is hear UP!, or indeed any of the other tracks, on this wonderful album and you'll be convinced.
