This is a gem of a projector. Although I think I'm a bit sensitive to Rainbow effect , I hardly see it while there's a movie on, the only time I see it is if there's Black & white high contrast images.
The colours are extremely vibrant and in a dark room it's a hundred times better than you'll ever get from a plasma or LCD especially if you want to watch 3D. The depth is awesome,
I sed the 3D-RF glassses and I can honestly say there was no ghosting or any jitter. The image was crisp all throughout.
If your budget is under 1000 pounds then go ahead and buy this you will not be dissapointed.
The things that you need to know are
1600 Lumen is very good if you have a dark room but there is no way you can watch it if there's sunlight in the room
The glasses will take away some of the lumens ( i would say around half ) but the image is still very clear ( not tried it yet with darker 3D movies)
If you can test it somewhere and chek how sensitive you are to rainbow effect , make sure you watch different movie clips with multiple backgrounds for at least 30 min and you'll know if your sensitivity is going to be a problem
The contrast is really good and the blacks are very black , but I do understand that some people still think that it should be darker and I don't think that justifies paying more to get higher contrast.
I am very very impressed with this projector so if you're in any doubt ... go ahead and buy it
