5.0 out of 5 stars Smiffys wig, 18 Dec. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
The wig isn't quite the same as pictured here, but still nice. The fringe goes straight across rather than asymmetrical like in the picture, and is perhaps a VERY pale blonde than a pure white. But for what I wanted for, it's fine. :) Seller sent item promptly :)

5.0 out of 5 stars Necronomicon, 4 Sept. 2009
Apart from the annoying sticker on the back, this is a book that any Lovecraft or horror fan worth their salt should treasure. It is as books should be - beautiful & hefty! The inside covers are a map of fabled Arkham and there is even the odd picture throughout. The book is presented to suit the mood of the stories within.

Unrelated to the actual quality of the book, but fitting to tell you about nonetheless, is when my copy arrived I opened it, squealed in excitement and then put it down. No sooner had I done that than the weather turned from a sunny morning to a big booming thunderstorm with sleet & hail! And if you like Lovecraft, or go read up on his works, you'll know why that is a very apt anecdote to put in this review! ;)

4.0 out of 5 stars 1920s Arkham, 4 Jan. 2006
I didn't find this as detailed as the H.P. Lovecraft's Dunwich book, but still, it is presented in the same excellent format & comes with a map of Arkham & a mock news sheet to tease / tempt / confuse players with.
Miskatonic university could have been described in more depth but seeing as Chaosium have just bought a book out for this I'm guessing that covers the problem.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent 1920s adventure, 4 Jan. 2006
This book was the first I bought as an adventure book to go with my Cthulhu rule book.
Compared to certain other famous d20 systems adventures, the intricacy this book goes into describing nearly each and every house in Dunwich & its occupants DEEPLY impressed me. The care & attention that goes into the map & how they have properly studied the novel 'The Dunwich Horror' by H.P. Lovecraft (and include it in this book to set the mood) made me feel that this was indeed a worthy purchase.
Experienced Cthulhu players may wish to say otherwise, but as a newcomer I found this an impressive benchmark.
