4.0 out of 5 stars High Quality Summer Chill, 1 Oct 2013
This latest iteration of Blank & Jones' Milchbar series is further evidence of B&J's increasingly tasteful approach. Some superb tracks from Shelby Lynne (didn't expect that, eh?), Bliss and the boys themselves create a smooth summery experience. The only real criticism that could be applied is that the tracks are, possibly too tasteful/safe. But, hey, this is about Relaxing and that it does very well indeed.

Stylish and functional stand. As long as you're not using a really heave headphone (Audeze, for example), this is all you need. The text is a bit unnecessary but not a big issue. Does what it says.

1.0 out of 5 stars Rubbish - unfortunately, 30 Nov 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I read a few other negative reviews about this range (the White and Black ones) but this frosted case was all positive. I have also been very impressed with SGP products in the past so I bought this. Unfortunately, it is cheap rubbish. All the complaints that you'll find about the other versions are true and present in this version. I feels cheap and flimsy but, most importantly, the ring around the lens hole isn't secured and falls out constantly. In trying to fit this, I've already scratched my pristine iPhone 5. I suspect that, in time, SGP will make a better case but I'd advise you to avoid this one. I'll be returning it and wish I'd never bought it.

2.0 out of 5 stars Forget the spray, 5 Jan 2012
This is the first Zagg product I have bought. However, I have used skins from BestSkinsEver for a number of years so the principle is the same and is sound. The problem with Zagg is that, in trying to be more consumer friendly, they supply a small spray bottle of liquid and it's just not enough. Just using the spray, you don't get enough moisture/coverage to allow the skin to be properly positioned or fully finger-print free. The result is a smudgy, bubbly mess.

My advice is to ignore the spray and make up a bowl of water and a small drop of liquid soap and immerse the skin in the liquid, making sure your fingers are well moistened. This may feel a bit more scary - all that water on your iThing - but I've done this on iPads without any problems.

4.0 out of 5 stars Overall, good value for the price., 4 Oct 2011
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Firstly, the price - () - is amazing. It comes with a very nice firm case. This may be too large for some users but for headphone and PMP, it's perfect. Based on previous case purchases, you could easily spend () for this alone.

The headphones would, therefore, have to be unusable for this to be poor value. And they're not. They are a very cheap IEM with all the features you'd expect. The cable feels robust and strain relief is good at plug and monitors. The memory wire is a nice touch and unexpected at this point. The tip selection should cater for most fits and, once you have a good seal, the sound is fine for a first IEM and stock bud replacement.

It's tuned for bass and this sounds pleasingly weighty. Highs are a bit rough and muted. Mids and vocals are, unfortunately, very rough and vocals tend to be sibilant. Not unlistenable by any means and perfectly adequate for exercise (memory wire scores again).

Aside from a less than perfect sound, the finish on the iem casing has a slight unevenness at the seams and, the colour cues on the monitors are just plain stupid. Right is Green and Left is Red. Usually, right is red. This is clearly in the manual but who reads manuals for earphones - you'll soon work it out based on fit, though.
4 may be churlish for the price but it's all about the sound and this is sufficiently flawed to lose it a star. Still, a good first IEM.

Sennheiser/Adidas CX 680 High-Performance Noise-Isolating Ear Canal Headphones (Sports-Optimised Design)

3.0 out of 5 stars Overpriced and Underperforming, 16 Mar 2011
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Here's yet another earphone designed for the exercise market that is overpriced and which underperforms.

Firstly, the good. The sound is typical low end Sennheiser, which is decent with somewhat overblown bass. If you like the Sennheiser house sound (a la CX300 - cx500), you'll be happy enough. Likewise, the heavy bass is probably fine given the intended usage - this isn't for critical listening; it's to drive you through your next mile. More surprisingly, the earpieces tend to stay in your ears. The fins do seem to work. I'd normally have to adjust the fit of a cx500 a number of times during a run but these stayed in place without any adjustment.

That said, they are overpriced for what they are and have one major flaw. For a product designed explicitly for exercise, the cable is inflexible and prone to horrible microphonics. There is no practical option to wear them over the ear (which should minimise microphonics) so you have a constant thump, thump when you run. This is a fundamental problem and I would have expected Sennheiser to have catered for this. The clip compensates to a certain extent but shouldn't be necessary.

Sennheiser CX 380 Sport II - High Performance Noise Isolating Ear-canal Phones with Sports Optimised Design

1.0 out of 5 stars Disappointing, 2 Aug 2010
While the CX 380 II possesses the usual Sennheiser sound and solid fit, these are poor for sports use. The cables are very thin and fragile and will not stand up to vigorous use. More importantly, the microphonics of the cable are the worst of any IEM I have owned and are wholly unsuitable for sports use (even with the supplied clip). Avoid for sports.

This is fantastic. Nicely designed and well finished. It's a Rabbid and it's huge (well, about a foot tall). What's not to like? Highly recommended for Rabbid fans .

2.0 out of 5 stars Just OK, 5 May 2010
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Firstly, ignore the other reviews on this page - they seem to be for an MP3 player not the iPad Case/protector.

The screen protector is pretty good. It fits the iPad nicely and is pretty easy to put on. The case, on the other hand, is a very poor fit - it gaps in a rather pronounced fashion at the sides. It's as if the designer didn't take account of the curvature of the iPad back. It spoils the slick look of the iPad. However, it is very cheap. I bought it to protect my iPad for a week or so before my skin based protector arrives from the US and on that basis it does the job. Case is 2/5 and the screen protector is 4/5.

Update: Having had the case in place for a week, it is starting to slide off at the sides. The case is poor and I do not recommend it. The screen protector is still a decent product.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good but ..., 14 Nov 2009

These are exactly what they claim to be - Shatterproof Jewel Cases. However, be aware that these are not identical to standard jewel cases - nice and slick and transparent. Instead these are made from softer plastic that has a slightly creamy opaque cast. Think lunch box plastic rather than glass. Therefore, they don't give your CDs a glossy look - slightly more muted. I can live with this but be wary if you expect them to be clear.
