Mountain Equipment Men's Lightline Jacket -
Mountain Equipment Men's Lightline Jacket -
Offered by Cave & Crag Ltd

4.0 out of 5 stars Great coat, 11 Feb 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I have owned one of these coats for a couple of years, it's very light and durable, and I'm still very pleased with it. I have cycled in torrential winter rain, and stayed dry; it has kept me warm in freezing winds on the Norfolk coast. However, I would have given it 5 stars but I think that the zip they have used is a poor choice. Mountain Equipment are renowned for their quality in mid priced outdoor clothing, but they should not have economised on the zip as it will shorten the life of an otherwise fine product.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not the best selection, 11 Feb 2014

I recently replaced my jigsaw with a Bosch GST 150 and bought a set of blades to go with it. I tried several of the blades on 15mm plywood and none of them would cut at 90 degrees even when cutting in a straight line. Furthermore, there wasn't any information about them, and no code numbers on them, so I was unable to find out what they were designed for. I have since bought some Bosch 101B blades, nice clean cut and they will cut along a straight line at 90 degrees.

My advice would be don't waste your money on these blades, get some that are right for the job.

Craghoppers Classic Kiwi Trousers - Colour: Elephant-Grey, Size: 34, Length: R

3.0 out of 5 stars No longer classic, 15 May 2013

I've been wearing Craghopper Kiwi trousers for years. I like the generous cut and the large pockets, and the choice of material. However, Craghopper have now redesigned their trousers so that they are much tighter around the thigh and reduced the depth of the pockets. When they had such a great design it is difficult to understand why they would want to ruin it,

I have been wearing Classic Kiwi trousers for the last 6 years, the generous cut gives them more freedom of movement than similar products, and the pockets are very useful. However, Craghopper have redesigned the trouser so it is tighter around the thigh and reduced the pocket depth. Very disappointing.

1.0 out of 5 stars The new Craghopper Kiwi, 13 April 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I've been wearing Craghopper Kiwi trousers for about the last 10 years and seldom wear anything else, the generous cut allows for total freedom of movement, the material is great for all seasons- quick drying and hard wearing. Having just ordered a couple of new ones I was amazed to discover that the design that has been tried and tested over the years has been abandoned, and is superseded by altering the tailoring around the crotch area and reducing the width of the thighs by 7 cm. The result is that they have designed the legs to be too tight, and the pockets which were quite generous, have now been reduced so much as to be useless. Craghopper, you have lost the plot and a regular customer.

This review is from: Chopin: Etudes (Audio CD)
If you like Russ Conway, maybe you'll like this. Why was he in such a hurry, did he have a bus to catch? For someone who is so famous and accomplished, its amazing that anyone thought it suitable for general release. His speed of rendition makes this recording insensitive and crass. If you compare this with Arthur Rubinstien's recordings you would not recognise it as the same music.
