I normally read reviews on books before handing over my hard earned cash. After finishing the book, I was interested to see others views on this site. You will see that it appears to split opinion greatly! sadly, my views fall in the lower category!
I have no doubt that Bob Shepherd is a man at the top of his game. His qualifications and experience speak for themselves. The first few chapters paint a picture of what life on 'The Circuit' is like, which appears promising. The book then seems to lapse into planning for what might happen, which never does. One chapter revolves around stealing a flag form Yasir Arafat, as the author is very quick to question everyone elses integrity, maybe he should look closer to home!
In the end, the book was lost in self opinionated repetitiveness. The book doesn't tell you anything new and can be summed up in one word 'DULL'
