Law students need to get this! Explains everything so clearly and goes into enough detail for those crucial exams. A lot of excellent summaries and key cases.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent, 14 May 2010
I am a law student at King's College London, and this book helped me get a First in Public Law. The reason why other students condemn this as being "too complicated" is because it is the only book that explains the principles and rules properly and thoroughly, rather than skimming the surface. If students aren't willing to go into detail then perhaps a law degree was the wrong choice...

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic!, 17 Jan. 2010
Once again, The Office demonstrates just why it is loved by so many people. Everyone is back on top form, and this could easily be said to be the best season yet! Michael really develops as a character throughout the many hilarious episodes, and it's great to see more attention placed on Andy. There are 5 discs in total, so you'll feel more satisfied with this season than with its predecessor.

It was definitely worth getting a region one copy, seeing as region two season 4 has only just become available to pre-order, so God knows when this will be available for all those without a region one dvd player! My only complaint is that I now have to sit and wait for season 6 to be released in September, which is really frustrating!

5.0 out of 5 stars A great edition of a great game!, 6 Nov. 2009
This edition of the game includes both the two downloadable levels available from the Xbox Marketplace, plus the addition of a new level based in the Hoth system. The new content is presented on a separate disc, which means that the new stuff isn't fully integrated into the old game. This may be frustrating for those who have purchased the game already. I would really only recommend this version to true fans of the series, as there is only variation in terms of unofficial story, no gameplay additions etc. Yet, as I felt the original version was already a master piece, this package comes as a welcome treat for us who crave more of Starkiller and his new status as Sith Lord.

5.0 out of 5 stars A fantastic game!, 7 Oct. 2009
Everyone knows this is just an expansion of Halo 3, set whilst the Master Chief is busy on Delta Halo. It comprises of a series of missions undertaken by the Orbital Drop Shock Troopers, where you get to play as a vareity of troopers, though primarily as "The Rookie".

To start with, the graphics equal those on Halo 3, and it could even be said that they are slightly better. It has very similiar gameplay, yet I'd say that it is far superior on this game. The addition of new guns (silenced pistol and silenced SMG) adds more fun, and the health system makes slight alterations to battle tactics. This last feature also helps reinforce the fact that you're not playing as the indestructable Spartan. The voice acting is impressive, and the most striking feature is how good the music is! The night-vision mode also adds a new element to the gameplay, and the game whether conditions (rain, night-time) etc really help add the atmosphere that Halo lacked.

As others have warned, THIS DOES NOT COME WITH AN ODST MATCHMAKING MODE! Disc 1 contains ODST, both the story mode and the new and amazing Firefight mode, whilst Disc 2 comes with the complete set of Halo 3 Matchmaking maps for playing Halo 3 on. In order to utilise Xbox LIVE on ODST, you actually have to have FRIENDS who are willing to join you fight off masses of Covenant forces in Firefight. The second disc is for adding to Halo 3, not ODST. It comes with 3 new maps, plus (annoyingly) all the maps you probably have already downloaded for Halo 3. So don't expect to be paired up with loads of random people in Firefight, nor should you expect to be roaming the multiplayer maps of Halo 3 as an ODST.

The great thing about the Halo 3 expansion disc is that it gives you the opportunity to unlock more achievements, and ultimately the highly coveted RECON ARMOUR! It isn't easy, but it's there if you want to work at it!

5.0 out of 5 stars Absolutely awesome!!, 27 July 2009
I think this may be the first review of the UK version of this brilliant Blu Ray, so here it goes.

First of all, the packaging is great. The Blu Ray comes with a box cover over its case, with the artwork shown above (which in my view is a lot better than the artwork used for the original DVD release). An impressive start to a long awaited film.

The film itself IS noticably better. It retains the same awesome story, whilst extra scenes add more understanding and enjoyment. Some people said that it isn't worth buying for an extra 25 minutes, but add this to the great quality of the HD film and you are left with a film that should be in every Final Fantasy VII fan's collection! The sound quality is even better than the original, which is big claim seeing is it was great already. The extras included are all worth a view, especially "On The Way To A Smile", which was previously a written story.

Finally, I can confirm that this DOES NOT come with a playable Final Fantasy XIII demo, which is slightly disappointing, yet what is included is a mouth-watering extended trailer. Still, I got this Blu Ray as a fan of the Final Fantasy VII Compilation, so it didn't really bother me that we couldn't experience the new gameplay of number XIII. All that does bother me is that they release XIII and get started on remaking Final Fantasy VII (however unlikley that may seem!).

5.0 out of 5 stars An awesome figure!, 25 July 2009
This review is from: Halo 3 Series 2 Arbiter (Toy)
This figure is great. Arbiter's new gold armour looks great and his energy sword looks really cool too. He looks nice next to the rest of my elites, and he is exceptionally rare in the UK nowadays (paid £30 on Ebay for mine).

5.0 out of 5 stars Absolutely Quality!, 19 July 2009
This review is from: The Office Season 4 [DVD] (DVD)
I got this region 1 DVD after purchasing a very cheap multi regional DVD player from Ebay (the Philips DVP3120 - for £30). I was getting extremely frustrated with waiting for the region 2 version to appear over here, and I just had to find out what was in store for Michael and the rest of the gang. After putting this in the machine and getting perfect sound and vision, I certainly have no regrets about doing so, especially as I am now ready for the season 5 release in September (God knows when the region 2 version will surface over here...).

The series is quite simply amazing. It was great to see the further embarrassments and awkwardness we've come to love, and it is also great to see episodes that are more involved with each other (rather than the more isolated "themed" episodes of the previous series). It was a pleasant surprise to find more lengthy double episodes, as well as further character development (notably Dwight and Michael). It was also enjoyable to see how Ryan's character has changed so much, as well as all the familliar inappropriate and hilarious remarks from other cast members.

If you're sitting there, like I was, getting extremely impatient with waiting for this excellent series to be released in the UK, don't wait any longer! Get this DVD, get a multi regional DVD player, and get ready to laugh your face off!

5.0 out of 5 stars A great purchase, 19 July 2009
I bought this item due to its capability to be used as a multi regional DVD player. I was extremely sceptical about its abilty to play region 1 DVDs, yet once I entered the hack code (mentioned on another very helpful review on here) it worked like a dream. I bought the Office: An American Workplace Season 4 to watch on it, and plays great.

I was worried about the quality of sound and picture when playing foreign films, yet it is exactly like a region 2 DVD: flawless! The DVD player is slim and looks great, and I couldn't be happier with it!

WARNING: This DVD player DOES NOT come with a SCART lead, so make sure you purchase one in order to actually see the DVD you're watching!
