Engaging listening, 26 Feb 2013
This CD comes up to expectations. Ustinov is very entertaining and has a fund of stories to relate from his long and varied career. Very well worth buying as he repays the investment one hundred fold.

Very useful, 18 Dec 2012
Amazon very promptly replaced the first one ordered as the bin was broken. This shredder is excellent value for money. It's small and can be used on a table. The handle on top makes for ease of use when emptying bin. Very portable. Pleased I bought it.

Entertaining read, 21 Dec 2011
How the priviledged lived during the second world war. Who could blame the hotel staff for going on strike. A worthwhile read as it was not a subject much publicised if you were not close to "the action". Well done Matthew Sweet.

Excellent viewing, 30 Dec 2010
At last an interesting and absorbing TV series with superb acting. Missed the first series and got hooked on second. There is so much to learn about the early court system (pity the defendent until Garrow came along) and the stories are told so well. It's complusive viewing. Very well done BBC. Restored my faith in you somewhat.

Excellent yarn, 8 Sep 2010
Remember reading these tales when I was at school and they have not lost any of their pace. The book cover caught the attention of my grandchildren and got them from their Wii. They thoroughly enjoyed reading the story as the knew of Dr. Syn from repeats on BBC 7. Would recommend for getting boys interested as the format is not novel like and the print easy to read.

PROTECTIVE CASE, 29 Mar 2010
Attractive looking case, but it is a tight fit, as a reviewer previouly mentioned. It was too difficult to use for my notebook, so I have had to buy another case and find an alternative for the Belkin.

Shooting the Cook, 20 July 2009
Excellent read about David Pritchard's early life and his development of TV cookery programmes from their early static kitchen base to the Keith Floyd experience, and then Rick Stein. Really honest, entertaining about how these programmes were made. He doesn't even mind recounting stories that question his judgement. If you would like to know what went on, read this.

wonderful muppets, 23 Feb 2006
This CD is a hit with every member of my family, young and old. Each item brings back lots of memories and we have all had a wonderful time listening to it. It has been played countless times in the few days we have had the CD. It's timeless and still as original for us oldies as when heard for the first time.
