1.0 out of 5 stars Stay out of Australia, 1 May 2004
This review is from: 2 [Australian Import] (Audio CD)
As someone who had adopted Australia as my "home", I feel that, when it comes to musical terrain, Olivia should stay away from Australia as far as possible.

Did anyone see that Australian clip she did for her GAIA album in the mid-90s? Everything was wrong in it, her looks, her clothes, and most of all the songs. I'd say I'm a big fan but I didn't get GAIA until last year. Same with "2" - I smelled a rat ages ago, and I only bought it cheap while in Japan.

Olivia still has a great voice and she's a fantastic vocalist. However, this second rate collection of artists and even worse, second rate songs, is not doing her any good.

I'd rather see her like Bette Midler doing Rosemary Clooney songs, or like Agnetha doing 60s classics than this rubbish. Olivia, please get a decent producer elsewhere!

1.0 out of 5 stars Kylie as BB, 29 Nov 2003
This review is from: Body Language (Audio CD)
For those in their 20s -- this cd must be heaven. Kylie as BB? I want my $$ back on this. LIGHT YEARS was great -- Robbie & all. BODY LANGUAGE is a fantastic example of an artist who has lost her edge - Any one remembers CONFIDE IN ME? If you think CAN'T GET YOU OUT OF MY HEAD is a sublime piece of pop, you should stay exactly where you are. As It stands, Kylie, I think the buck stops here. I'm trashing you recent output. BODY LANGUAGE is medicore and boring - right down to the cover.

5.0 out of 5 stars 1,000 million miracles, 29 Nov 2003
This review is from: Miracles [CD 1] (Audio CD)
Thank you Neil & Chris - just when I'm losing faith in ALL the acts I've loved and adored, you came back with this sublime piece of melancholia. This is one of the most important moments of PSB - right along side BEING BORING and BEHAVIOUR. All is forgiven with your recent mishaps....Rodgers and Hammerstein....
