I really enjoyed this story which came at the problem of child sexual abuse from a totally different direction, and one that I found very thoughtful.

3.0 out of 5 stars Quite a good scifi story, 11 Jun. 2014

I enjoyed this book generally the basic story is quite good. I did feel that the author skimmed over quite a bit of the detail that could have been included and would perhaps have made some of the more far fetched elements more plausible.

4.0 out of 5 stars Another good book from Kate Atkinson, 2 Aug. 2013

This is a very interesting book, which really gives you an insight into various periods within the early 20th Century. The shifting between the heroines time is a little confusing at first but once you cotton on to what is happening, it becomes an enthral king story.

Very useful and informative.

4.0 out of 5 stars A great travelogue for Florence, 2 July 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
A typical Dan Brown story follows a trail of clues to prevent a world wide plague. The story travels around Europe mainly in Florence and Istanbul. It is a great incentive to visit both places, and ends with a great climax.

Price: £13.99

4.0 out of 5 stars The Godfather still has what it takes, 1 July 2013

Despite its age this film still holds up against current films. Some of the dialogue is quite difficult to understand especially from Marlon Brando, but the story is still great.

4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent historical novel, 19 Mar. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I have now read all three of this series, and have found them very enjoyable. They are interesting from a historical perspective, but with added bonus of gripping actions sequences which would appear to be very detailed and I am sure historically acurate. The plotting is quite complex and cover four separate story lines, but it is well worth the effort to get into the books.
