This mixer is easy to use and easy to keep clean. My family have used very often since we bought it, it does mean that lots of cooking chores are made simpler and are quicker to manage.
We have yet to make full use of all the facilities available with this food mixer, but I feel sure that we shall not be dispappointed.

5.0 out of 5 stars authoritative and spiritual, 30 Jan 2013

This is the third and last of the series written by Pope Benedict XVI., under the general title JESUS OF NAZARETH.
It provides the background to Jesus' birth and early life. The subject is treated with exegetical rigour, but the style is simple, direct, and leads to "lectio divina" for those who want to experience a deeper commitment to the Scriptural text.
The story of Christmas is moving in its simplicity. The book will appeal to the student of Scriptures and to those who wish to deepen their spiritual life.

5.0 out of 5 stars Responding to God's will and call, 20 Jan 2013
"If this plan or this work is of human origin, it will be destroyed, but if its origin is divine, you will be unable to destroy them. Be careful that you do not turn out as God-fighters", from Acts of the Apostles, 5, 38-39.

This quotation which refers to the times after the Resurrection of Jesus, when devout Jews were uncertain about the growth of the newly-born Church, could well apply to the foundation inspired by Mother Saint Mary at Upper Norwood in 1848, which is still developing and still touching the hearts of young people in South London.
Challenged in her body with physical sufferings, challenged in her heart and soul by doubts, uncertainties, and the prospects of failure, Mother Saint Mary never wavered from her total conviction and staunch commitment to what she knew God was calling her to establish.

The book traces the contributions of this extraordinary dedicated Sister to the physical, moral, educational, and religious welfare of underprivileged girls in the middle of the nineteenth century. It evokes important times for the Catholic Church and for Girls' education, it brings to mind Church personalities who had an impact on the development of Catholic Education. It also places those events within an historical context which includes the Irish Famine (1846-1850), the Crimean War (1853-1856), and modern times up to 1876.

The work founded by Mother Saint Mary flourishes even in our days with the Preparatory School, the Senior School, the Saint Mary's Family Centre for Mothers and Children at risk, and many other aspects of education in the UK and throughout the world.
