I Love You To Death [DVD]
I Love You To Death [DVD]
Dvd ~ Kevin Kline

5.0 out of 5 stars Old but good., 18 May 2013

This review is from: I Love You To Death [DVD] (DVD)
I bought this for my wife as she had the video years ago and loved it. Kevin Kline is absolutely superb and has you believing he is really Joey Bocg pizza man and womaniser with Tracy Ullman his long suffering wife who doesn't realise what he is up to. Joan Plowright as Tracy's mother plays a blinder with outstanding performances by River Phoenix, William Hurt and Keanu Reeves. All the better for knowing it is based on a true story, if you haven't seen it then it really is one not to be missed and if you have een it buy it and watch it again then lend it to your friends.

5.0 out of 5 stars James does it again!, 18 May 2013

I bought this as i have read the previous 11 books and it didn't disappoint, there are several stories all in one and it keeps you reading long after it's lights out and time to sleep. Like all James Patterson's books the chapters are only two or three pages long and that gets a bit annoying but nonetheless it is a worthwhile read and a book you can confidently recommend to your friends.

Curry recipes are easy to follow but allow time and a bit of practise, still not the curry flavour i'm looking for but then perhaps my palate is different than some other peoples. You need a fairly comprehensive spice collection which despite advice to the contrary can be expensive. However i would recommend to any curry lover and would be chef.

I have read all the womens murder club books as they have come out and like all of James Pattersons books this is one well worth reading. Only criticism if there's one is as always the two/three page chapters are a bit of a nuisance.

As always Not dead yet leaves you wanting more. What is going to happen with Sandy, will Glen ever be truly happy again these and many more questions need Peter James`s urgent attention. Don't leave it too long Peter!

As only Andre Rieu can do there are a couple of beautiful tunes on this disc but what you don't find out until you have made the purchase there are 7 tracks with Mirusia Louwerse or Carmen Monarcha or The Platin Tenors on which are very nice but not what i wanted from a disc of tunes by Andre Rieu.

The mistake was mine, it is not what i thought it was i.e. You Tube on the computer which lets you hear choices of music so i haven't even looked at it.

3.0 out of 5 stars Easy listening, easy to listen to., 24 Jan. 2013

As the title suggests this is a collection of some of Andre Rieu's more well known tunes. As always the music gets into your soul and lifts you up if you're down or just makes your day/night better than it already is.From the first track, Waltz no.2 through the Blue Danube on to the Barcarolle and then to Thunder and lightening polka and ending with Perpetuum mobile you are taken away by over 1 hour and 20mins of the most uplifting and enjoyable music ever. Buy this for yourself and extra copies for friends and relatives.

5.0 out of 5 stars Roy Grace strikes again!, 24 Jan. 2013
I have read all the Roy Grace series and am completely hooked, i need to know what happened to Sandy ( Roy's wife) almost as much as Roy, and at the end of this book there's a real kicker to leave you hanging on. The crimes and the task of solving them keeps you on the edge of your seat and i defy you to put the book down without reading " just a bit more !" What will happen to Glenn Branson or Cleo Morey will Roy and Glenn solve the case can anything get any more exciting, read Dead man's grip for some of the answers but be warned there's more to come in Peter James' next Roy Grace book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fabulous Rieu., 27 July 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Bought as a boxed set of two, the other being Royal Albert Hall Live, this for me is perhaps the better of the two though neither is hard to listen to and watch. Andre Rieu is arguably the best there is and this DVD showcases his absolute brilliance. The music caters for all tastes but is what i would regard as the lighter side of classical music, there is, of course, The Radetzky March and Vienna Blood (Wiener Blut) alonside The Second Waltz but to offset these wonderful pieces of music you have the ever popular Hava Nagila, Kalinka, Lara's Theme and even Tea for two. You listen to the wonderful Bolero and then are roused by Sirtaki (Zorba's Dance) when as an act of sheer brilliance you watch as 300 pipers march in to the evergreen Amazing Grace and finish with Auld Lang Syne by which time, for me, the tears are flowing. I have watched both DVDs one after the other, 165mins of bliss, and not been bored. This must be Mr. Rieu at his very best.
