5.0 out of 5 stars Best heated blanket, 5 Oct 2012

Dreamland Intelliheat Fleece Heated Under Blanket Single A great heated underblanket for the cold winter nights. It does everything it says on the pack; heat up quickly, adjust to body heat, has 6 temperature settings and a 1hour and 9 hour time setting. The big bonus with this blanket, over other cheaper models, are twofold. Firstly it's fitted which means it covers the whole bed and doesnt go walk-about in the night and secondly, there is no bulky uncomfortable plug-in point in the blanket. The kingsize has independent controls for either side of the bed. Also it's washable so come the summer it can be taken off and cleaned. Thoroughly recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars A good read., 19 Mar 2010
Wonderful book, beautifully written. It describes all landscapes as a fluid entity relating to it's history both natural and man made. Each section is relatively short which gives it pace and related to examples that the author has experienced personally. Anne Whiston Spirin conveys her life learning in such a way that what she says seems obvious once you have read it, which makes it easy to take on what she is saying. Well worth a read.
