Excellent quality, excellent sound (reminiscent of the large expensive Wharfedale speakers I had in the 1970s!). Faultless; highly recommended.
(Note to Wavemaster - if the speakers had a wireless remote they could be used with a flat screen LED/LCD TV!)

An excellent printer with very good quality printing of type and of pictures, even on plain paper. When using Epson papers, results are almost as good as a hi-end hi-quality ink jet printer (for example, A3+ Stylus Photo 1600). However, the one major drawback in this printer is the manual feed. If you print on anything other than normal or average thickness of paper or thin card you have to use the manual feed slot at the front. You line up the card, having adjusted the printer's settings ready for the thickness, and the slot automatically grabs the card and swallows it in - and in the process skews the card out of alignment. I tried all settings and 20 pieces of Epson double sided card and in all cases the print was out of alignment with the edge of the card. There is no way to lock the guides on the manual feed slot, as the printer grabs the card the guides move!. I have owned Epson laser printers before and this sort of problem never occurs. I find it hard to believe that Epson actually tested this manual feed slot in R&D. If you won't use the manual feed then 5 stars; otherwise Epson should look at the manual feed capability on its other printers.

1.0 out of 5 stars The end of an excellent programme, 28 Feb. 2014
This review is from: WebPlus X7 (PC) (CD-ROM)
Serif WebPlus X7 is severely disappointing and unfortunately unusable. X7 is Serif’s Windows 8 moment. Why? First this is a stripped down version with considerably less in terms of advanced graphic and typographic features than X6 or X4 (both of which I have used). The serious concern is that a large website, made in X4, and another website built only 6 months ago in WebPlus X6, were rendered incompatible and obsolescent by opening them in X7. The latter website – for an academic journal, with over 120 files/pages, password control, downloadable PDFs for subscribers – was in effect wrecked (fortunately I kept a back-up copy). And yes, every few minutes when building a site I use Serif’s inbuilt “site checker” to ensure everything is running smoothly and nothing is not going to cause problems. First, virtually all the text boxes were different. Features in X4 and X6 were left out of X7 (text box links, text scrolling, text box margins, etc.) rendering all text boxes and text not fitting. Many hyperlinks were simply lost – links that work perfectly well in X6 and the published site. WebPlus X7 may have new fashionable features and templates (I never use templates – I hand craft websites, and having used Adobe software for 20 years I know my way around, and am aware of the potential pitfalls, of computerized graphic design!). My solution was to uninstall WebPlus X7, and go back to using X6. Serif appear to have stepped backwards. Yes, X7 is probably good for someone who wants to make a small website of a few pages from a template without thinking about detail and presentation. There are some good features (not necessarily the fashionable sliders, which are just glorified photo galleries, etc.) in fact the basic structure for previewing sites is vastly improved. However, like Windows 8 this is a reduced and simplistic programme that regards the past as if it no longer exists. What is the way forward for me and thousands of serious and professional uses? I would suggest to Serif that X7 should be rebranded as “WebPlus Elements” or “WebPlus Basic” and targeted at a group who want simple basic, small, websites; then rebrand X6 – updating it, retaining the advanced features for hand-crafting, for large serious websites – as “Serif WebPlus A1.” And, yes, double the price for “WebPlus A1” to £180 (that is nothing compared to Adobe Dreamweaver costing hundreds of pounds). Whatever happens Serif needs to decide whether they want to retain the serious professional user, or stay selling a £10 Christmas-Card-maker-software on Freeview!

5.0 out of 5 stars Epson ... or a clone, 8 Feb. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This is not the genuine Epson toner cartridge (as the details state), it is a clone, however it is excellent, faultless. The prints are as good as the Epson, crisp with very fine detail graphics (as I would expect from this top-end printer); the toner is the same fine grain graphite as the Epson. So far it is shaping up to produce the same high-capacity number of pages, as the Epson. One very important difference: the Epson genuine cartridge is RRP £159.95; this one is £22.95 (!?!). If this company's cartridge, admittedly manufactured in China, can retail at approx., 14% of the Epson price why do Epson need to charge such an inflated price?

1.0 out of 5 stars Impossible to Play, 11 May 2012

DON'T BUY THIS : I am sure it is excellent, knowing Bach Collegium Japan's reputation but it won't play on 99% of DVD players. A message comes up saying "Incompatible System Setting"; on the DVD case it says "TV Format NTSC" whatever that is, but, on a brand new Panasonic Digital HDD recorder and DVD, and a new flat screen TV it won't play. Sorry, but whatever esoteric-nerd system this is, it is not available on 99% of players and TVs! Therefore DON'T BUY IT.

4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent, but beware, 2 Feb. 2010
This is an excellent work, but if, like us, you have an amateur casual interest in finding a Medieval (Middle) English dictionary this is not for you. It is not an A to Z dictionary. It only covers the letter "T", and then, not all "Ts" - this is volume 7 just for the "Ts". We ordered it thinking it was an A-Z, but Amazon very kindly took it back and refunded. Still, it would be nice to find a straight forward not too big or academically obscure Medieval English dictionary - just what do those tantalizing words mean!
